"OH GET DOUBLE SHOT" to me says, "I can't out BR you unless I use this combo"

No, double shotting takes more skill than just regular out BRing.
Not that it's fair...

modding takes skill believe it or not, but that doesn't make it fair.

It doesn't even matter, these garbage moves will be replaced by Halo 3's pure glory.

Comparing modification to animation glitches just doesn't make sense.

What makes it unfair?
Players that don't know double shooting or won't do it will be killed everytime by a double shooter. because it's simple, one player is shooting much faster then the other.

I was using modding as an example.

Uhhh, false. Nice try though. I beat doubleshotters all the time without doubleshotting.

Freedom of Speech does not equal "Freedom from Consequences when one speaks".

It is a right, and all rights have responsibilities associated with them. Ignore the responsibility, and you tend to lose the right.

If I found a briefcase on the side of the road with $1,000,000 in it and it had a nametag on it with an address you can bet your ass that id be a million bucks richer even though its illegal to keep that money.

I'm not sure exactly what Kevin hoped this statement would add to his arguments, but it certainly gave me (and I'm willing to be others as well) a look into the morality of a gamer who will do whatever it takes to win a game. Kevin, you can make it sound however noble you like, teaching students to become better, etc., etc. But this is the mindset of a gamer, and there are thousands like you, who are willing to exploit whatever they find to gain adantages over other players not endorsing or participating in those same "rules". You term certain "in-game challenges" as gifts...to most others, they are frustrating annoyances. Not everyone enjoys perfect broadband connections, and there are H2 game versions manufactured with slightly different code allowing minor gameplay variances. So, not everyone can adapt in the same ways you claim.

When you mix your discussions of strategies -- which are intelligent -- against your endorsements of other techniques, I think there's an attempt to somehow lend credence to them. I know I'm not the only person reading this who sees the incongruity.

In the end I guess we just agree to disagree. Thankfully, in a couple more weeks all these discussions will be moot.
