Can anyone tell me why?
I can't hear my party member until we're actually in the game or right before the game starts after the teams have been selected.
We are on the same IP address but I dont see how that could be a problem.

No, he's not muted either.

i have this problem sumtimes too - i cant hear a party member but my other partymembers can hear them and me - so no ones mic is broken but i stilll cant hear them - also the mic symbol next to their name does not show that they are talking but other party members can hear and see(the symbol) them talking - this has actually happened when i couldnt hear my whole party so they started sending me mesages asking why i wasnt answering their questions

But I can hear him during the game, as the first post said.

Same with me, his mic symbol lights up on other people's screen as well. But mine happens all the time until we get into the match.

Would your party member that you can't hear happen to be on the same IP address as you? (as in using the same connection)

It's nothing more then a simple networking issue. Generally the quickest fix is for both of you to leave the room and come back into the room. NAT system is probable to blame, but normally nothing you can do.

No machine can ever have the same IP. You can have the same IP domain, but the ending string is +/- a #.

So theres no fix at all for this? We've played for hours before and it has never fixed itself.
