Moral of this story: Don't smoke.
Wrong.
The real moral: Don't get caught smoking.
YES!
No...there is nothing good about smoking at all.
I agree, but thats not for you, or me, or that guys parents to say.
If he wants to mess with his lungs, he should be allowed to.
So then, you would let him take drugs that would destroy him, because it's what he wants to do? Using that logic, we might as well do away with laws as well. We can just let everyone do whatever they want to, whether it be stealing, destroying, murdering- just let them do as they wish. In fact, why don’t we just get rid of the whole damn democratic system itself? Sounds good, eh? As long as we can do whatever we want to, right?
Live has rules, my friend- and the lack of rules is chaos. They may seem stupid to you in this time in your life, but they have a very important purpose.
Whoa there! Smoking a joint and murdering someone is a completely different kettle of fish....I smoke green quite regularly, and I'm not harming society. In fact, I'm one of the most productive and friendly people I know of and its all down to my easy going, chilled out stoner viewpoint on life. I say, why should non-additcive drugs be illegal? Who is it harming except for the individual who decides to partake in it?
To paraphrase the great comedian Bill Hicks: "It has to be said, I had a great time doing drugs! Never robbed anybody, never murdered anybody, never raped anybody, never beat anybody, never lost a job, a house, a car, a wife or kids...laughed my ass off, and went about my day" What's wrong with that?
