Yeah, but its a stand alone modem. Which means, if you don't know, it only has one ethernet port. But you probably know that.

Linksys is an excellent brand of router, and the majority (if not all) of them are compatible with the xbox systems.

They are even better when you hack them. They are great routers if you know what you are doing.

What he's saying is, if you go into the router through the computer, you can fiddle around with the settings and specify everything to your needs.

Or......you can put security programs on it that boost the signal strength, hide your MACs, and a variety of other goodies. But the default settings for a Linksys router are pretty decent.

Indeed. The customization options are very nice. And, like you and I said, even without the customization they are very good routers.
