They will definitely have a co-op of some kind. Why remove one of the things that made the origianl Halo so great? Having more then two people playing at once would be too easy, and although awesome, would just be way, way to easy. Maybe quadruple the amount of enemies?

Yea i agree i think that in campaign it should have more people allowed to play but the more spartans means more covenant? That would be cool, or maybe they lower marines for all the spartans, definetly something bungie should do... DO IT BUNGIE!!!!

I'd be satisfied with just two in co-op so long as you can system link and each have your own screen. Frame rate would be better too, when the workload is split between two machines when those plasma grenades, rockets and other forms of flaming death start getting piled on all at once.

maybe for each exrta person there should be 1.5 times more enemies. well use a 500 ememy level for an example:

1 spartain = 500 enemies
2 spartains = (500 * 1.5) 750 enemies
3 spartains = (750 * 1.5) 1125 enemies
4 spartains = (1125 * 1.5) 1687.5 enemies (round up to the nearest ones place) 1688 enemies for that level.

see what i'm saying?

An army of sheep led by a lion would defeat an army of lions led by a sheep.

Who says you have to hold the other spartans hand? In the books, they would split up and complete multiple tasks/objectives/missions at the same time. They could increase the size of the levels. They could have a more efficient engine that allows for more enemies on screen at once. They could remove health packs. They could increase the level of enemy AI. They could have 4 man co-op tourneys on Xbox Live... You know, for fun.

Normally, I notice more enemies whenever I play coop, perhaps bungie could compensate by ading more enemies and making it harder?

I think Moonman has a great idea for the four player co-op!

I dont hink there should be 4 player co-op, cuz it'd make the game VERY easy, but yeah, Halo Rocks

4 player coop on legendary with souped up enemies with more of their freinds, call me a bad player but that sounds about right ( this scenario is comparable to heroic coop on the library)

i hope the ending is something like the first halo. i was always the first one into the escape craft, so i was the only one to make it off halo alive. oh boy, you'd better believe i went out of my way to point out that fact. and when i wasn't going to make it first, that was quickly solved by that MC wannabe getting a shotgun blast in the back. it got to the point where we'd hop off the warthog and just duke it out, all the while the timer continuing to expire. and if he fell out of the warthog on the way there? SOL, dude. hey, survival of the fittest baby. only room for one MC in my game, so you better believe it's going to be me.

Well actually, it won't. Bungie said that Halo 2 will be the last Halo and will finish up the entire storyline. It won't end at something somewhat of a cliffhanger.

Good Luck. Have fun talking with Cortana the rest of your life while everyone else dies because you could only save yourself. That's basically the ending of the first game. You failed, and only saved yourself. Congrats

I have a lot of friend I want to play Co-Op with and more than 2 people in co-op would be sick. If it was more than four people it would suck though.

Anyone who has played Perfect Dark on the Nintendo 64 will remember the story-mode where one player was the hero, and the other(s, I can't remember if you could play this mode with more than two people) were the enemies, playing against the hero. They had a lower amount of health, and when they died, they automaticly switched to the next henchmen. Very cool. Something like that for Halo 2? I think it might work. Other than that, I don't think multipling the amount of enemies would solve any framerate problems...

My goal would be to help save the lives of others. The Chief has priorities, and must follow orders, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a heart. That doesn't mean he forgets that these Marines have families: Wifes, Sons, Daughters, Mothers, etc.. So, even though "I" survived, I still feel as though I failed, in a sense, you know?

If you were the Chief, would you turn away the helping hand of a Spartan that managed to survive on Reach? Just think, the only people you could ever relate to are, in your mind, dead on Planet Reach.. And your coming off of one hell of a beating on Halo.. And that was just ONE ship - The Truth and Reconciliation.

Look at the Halo 2 box cover art.. Good Luck ..Hope you feed your ego.
