Please don't make information up, or post false info such as this. It's hard enough to keep the details straight as it is.

wasn't something mentioned awhile back about the covenant homeworld? and if so which one as the covenant are so many races, i'd imagine it'd be the prophets but still wasn't it mentioned? furthermore, if it still has meaning, wasn't john's mission to capture the high prophet?

The covenant homeworld and the covenant themselves are a conglomerate made up of a mixture of races with a common purpose. The covenant homeworld will hold many more races than just the prophets...

I'm sure it will been as they've all been assimilated as it we're to a common goal. i just meant that the grunts homeworld is a different planet to the elites for example as theres is rich in the methane atmosphere that they naturally breathe. therefore when homeworld was mentioned ages ago as a possible level in halo 2 i simply thought which part of the covenant empire were they on about? but as the prophets are like their leader caste i thought it might be theirs. but of course your right about all the races being on it that make up the covenant, its common sense and it'd be boring otherwise.

they all orignated on the same planit or most of em. never know. thare could be parts of the plant whare grunts breath good and prosper and parts whare the eleats are suted to live inmagen it like a higly evolved planit who knows what we could turn into after a few melenem and hell maybe a dog could evolve into some kind of smart lifeform like humens elites and all the coves. we all started some whare and whos to say that other animals could not do the same i mean we wernt always humens. we came from some other lesser speaches and evolved into well us. so it could be a rezult of countless melenum of evelution and ther planit could very well be older than ares as you know eart is still considerd a neew planit compared to most of the stuff in the galixy so that plant could have had plent of time to get a few highly evolved speches on the same planit. and porbly profits whear the 1st to eveolv. well just macking a point that you never know lol. well you can toss all this into the junk yard by reading the next line if you want mack a choice on with you like =) ---> or you can say that maybe the covnt home worl they lare talking about is the MAIN covey planit and im sure tehy got more than one speshes of the covie living on it after all they are all united speshes so by that time theare will be mulit alins on one planit and with tecnolagy they can all live with each other like the grunts mask so he can breath

He didnt say exactly how many there were, but he didnt mention some on the moon and halo. And obviously the game is going to be alot longer than the first halo, so you can expect about that many levels.

One of the best things about the original was its lack of a boss character. By replacing bosses with difficult situations game developers are avoiding industry trends and being truly innovative. Plus leaving out bosses seems to add to a sense of it being a real war. Think of real combat, when we got to the last boss in Iraq, it was just a dude in a hole not a geneticly alterd Sadam with rocket launcher hands and a week spot on his chest that only opens every 30 seconds.

As I said before, that's only a rumor, and no numbers regarding levels have been given by any Bungie employee.
