When someone hacks HaloPC, that is done at the server level correct? Or can I hack my own pc's halo and then run it on the server that is hosting the game? It would seem to me that if the server code is modded then the mod would be available to everyone to use, I just last night played on a server where the warthogs flew like banshees!!!! It was like Mary poppins til the Rocket blew the hog apart in the sky. Those were available for everyone to use and the hog was consistent in it's behavior. But can you have mods that only apply to your client and then you have a distinct advantage over everyone?? If yes, then the xbox version might be better if in fact that version does not allow mods. But then again, there are more bugs in the xbox version than there is in the PC version. Anyway, thanks in advance.

Ok I did my own checking out and yes there are mods that can be on the server side as well as on the client side. That is if the server or the client are running HALOCE. If yes, then they can merge in with "regular" HaloPC gamers and play their CE version which is custom against the PC version which is standard.

Too bad there can't be an option to choose whether you want to play against custom setups or just standard setups. I would like to think those players racking up 30+ kills are doing it the old-fashioned way rather than a CE custom setting...
