When I need to run the calibrations on the battle suite my mouse does not respond to looking around and I can't go any further. Has any one had this happen before? I use a Logitech MX700 optical. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The calabaration he is talking about is at the very biggining of the Campaign. You wake up, then the guy tells you to look around to have a reading on your "calabaration". Of course you have to move around to continue, but unfortuanantly i have no idea why it wont move...

The mouse started working after I did the update. But this freak'n turd game is starting to piss me off. I loose the mouse at random points while playing in the campaign. The only way I get it back is to uninstall the game and start over. It sucks when you pay for a game and all you get for your money is problems. I always pay for software, as I know what it's like to have your worked pirated. I develop a lot of addons for MS Flight Sim and have been ripped off before. So I don't pirated software. But in this case I should have.

Most likely it is not a problem solely with Halo. It may arise as a conflict between various programs you have running and Halo, but it is not all Halo's fault, as you put it. I have run Windows 2000/XP with this same mouse and have not once run into problems with responsiveness in Halo. Try updating to the latest version of Mouseware, if you haven't already. Also, look around on their website for troubleshooting information.

Every diver needed to play any and or all my games are up to date including the latest version of Mouseware. This is the only game that flakes out. I have several games that require mouse input and my mouse doesn't miss a beat with any of them. Sorry if I have been harsh about halo not being cooperative. Its just frustrating when I can close halo and go right into another game without any hint of trouble.
