Mine's sent! My question still wasnt answered though, but no rush!

...What is the reason why Bungie doesnt accept personal avatars though? I mean, if the avatars are web-hosted then they really dont take up much of Bungie's room. I dont know, I may be wrong though. Stosh?...

Asked and answered many times, but here it is again:

No custom avatars because we'd have to either host a file only one person can use (we don't file host, it is a lot harder than you might think) or allow you to host it yourself and just store a reference to it here. That doesn't fly because I don't trust you people not to do something inappropriate. This is often referred to by the web team as the "-blam!- problem": because all it takes is one jerkoff making a picture of a -blam!- as his avatar to ruin it for everybody. Hmm... looks like that last line will be censored, but I bet you guys can figure out what goes in the blank. :)

And no - this policy is NOT up for debate nor is there ANY chance of it EVER changing. That's for all the people who thinking emailing me about it is going to change my mind. I'm very stubborn.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

FINALLY! The correct motivation to get back to drawing AND get my scanner up and running again! Thank you Stosh!

Need some help reducing my avatar, the animation I made(simple), at the lowest quality is 33k....are there any tricks I can use to get it down to 20k without reducing the quality to badly....I would put a link to it, but even though I don't think I will win I still think that is a bad idea...

what program are you using? There should be a way to reset it to 90x90 pixels. The size of the avatar you have now is also 90 pixels, if that helps.

Yeah, if you need to, just use your current avatar as a guidline for size.

Ive got time before my next Maya project is due, so I'm going to try something Ive been meaning to do for a while now. Just a still 3D render. It'll be good to see it actually have some use and - more importantly - get me free stuff!
If not, I'll just draw something by hand. This is one awesome contest.

you can open up your picture in MS Paint and go to Image -> Attributes, and it will tell you how many pixels big it is.

What is the naming convention is that the name you have to give your image or is it the subject of the email that you are sending?
