I have no idea why halo runs so slow. I'm on a 2.8ghz dell inspiron 5150 with 512mb ram, running a GeForce FX Go5200 card. I can only barely play the game with all settings on the lowest (texture, decals etc.). Could this game require THAT much power? With settings on the highest the game runs extremely slow and choppy and i can barely move. whats the deal?

Heyyo,

he already showed why HaloPC runs like crap, that FX5200 videocard, it's crap, one of Nvidia's crap cards. the Geforce 4mx440, the FX series up to the FX5700 weren't very good, especially for their prices. Now the prices are decent, but their preformance stil ain't too good... if you can get a new laptop that has a ATI Radeon Mobile 9600 PRO, cause that's one good videocard for any comp. :)
