Subject: Could it be? A new glitch?

Ok, so I know super bounces = bad, but seriously, these two werid things happened to me last night and they totally freaked me out. Just listen:

1. So last night I didn't have any friends online and I didn't feel like playing matchmaking, so I went and played the last level of Halo 2 campaign (whatever it's called, the one where you kill Tartarus). When I accompanied Johnson, I didn't grab a Banshee, I got the much more powerful Wraith from the beginning of your path. When we got to the end of the route at the beach, I realized I'd need a Banshee to get upto the door. So I got out of my Wraith and hijacked one from some that were flying near by and trying to shoot at me. When I got one I went and killed all the other Banshees, but then I finished by going to kill the other Brute. You know when people found the Juggernaut Flood, how when you killed it it would just stand still? That's what this Brute was doing; it was just standing still and making gurgling noises. If I backed up a little way he would slowly follow me, but if I got too far away he would just stop again. I thought that was weird, and jacked another Banshee. The second Brute did it too. What happened? Did Bungie make two different kinds of Brutes or something?

2. So after that I went and played some MLG on Lockout. The game of MLG I was playing was poorly set up, and we all had sniper rifles to accompany our usual BRs. I was walking along in the lower floor near the hole that drops down into the green room with the shotgun and I got headshot-ed. But instead of just falling over and dying, my Spartan fell over, grasped his neck, and started squirming as if he was trying to choke himself. It was really creapy to watch, and I have no idea what happened.

So does anyone know what happened? Have any of you heard of this before?

1. I can't say what that is. I'd have to see it for myself.
2. It's not a glitch but a rare a death animation. Instead of trying to choke himself I think the Spartan is trying to put pressure on the uncontrollable bleeding in the neck.

Yaaahooohooohoo!!!!

I'm a dude playing a dude desguised as another dude. I hate heritics, non-logical thoughts and people who are better than I am. People tell me that they like a lot of games, but I hate them all. Whenever I play a video game, I always go crawling back to Halo 3. Never go full retard!

That brute thing is really old. That has happened to me. That has happened to you. That has happened to a whole bunch of people.

with the brutes, that happens because at that point in the game the brutes have no weapon becuse they are only meant to fight and die in the Banshee's and the Spartan thing is just a random animation egg kinda thing

GRAVITY CAT NOT AMUSED
Process initiated : Attempting to give a damn

Process stopping : Unable to give a damn, stopping

Process failed : Damn not given

the brutes are a glitch, dying and grasping the neck is another rare sound way when you die, thats like as rare as when you die you might hear a marrio scream

That was a very rare death animation. It only happens when you die a certain way, they used that In Red vs. Blue Season 5, and thats the only time I had ever heard/seen it.
Basically you got VERY lucky. :)

I kill people with monopoly game pieces.

I would like to see which episode it was on please... I'm curious as to see what this looks like.

For the life of me, I can't remember seeing it on season 5...

Wait, what? The choke-death animation is rare?

But I get it all the time! Huh. Must be lucky.

I know nothing about the Brute thing, but is that death animation really that rare? I get it all the time... It's just one of a few you can see when you are killed via a headshot.

Hi!

Today I have come up against a bug which spawns 4 (2 each base) wraiths! in a custom game, has this been heard of before?
I have reset the map and it still spawns them in as well, so it's not temporary.

Active user since 2004.

1-Having an aimbot does not make you good.
2-Try to remember that it's another PERSON on the other end of the headset/keyboard.
3-Xbox Live is the deepest, darkest cesspool of humanity you'll ever encounter.
That is all.

I was playing SWAT and my Spartan did the same thing! The scary thing is that you can go back to your body and see it. This' only the second other occurence that I've heard of besides mine. Maybe like a 1 in 100,000 chance or something? Or if your death shot is in just the right place? I don't know...PM me if you find out anything else.

1. I don't know.

2. The game runs on a ragdoll physics engine. That might be the cause.
