That is all.
Okay, so I'm playing Halo 2 online the other day, just come out of doing Campaign and three other online matches. My friend sends me a party request, I join, and we start the match. It says that I failed to load the map, but I've gotten that before, so after trying three or four more times, I go and try to do a custom game by myself, just me, offline. It says that I failed to load the map. I downloaded ALL of the map packs again, but it still says this. So I eject my Halo 2 disk and there's a huge freakin' scratch around the disk about a half of an inch from the edge (The disk was fine when I put it in, I always check)! I had been playing Halo 2 on my 360 for over six months and it just decided to do this now! I can still play campaign but all of the multiplayer maps, even the ones that came with the game, are destroyed. My Xbox 360 was standing in the vertical position and has not moved in the six months that I've had it. The same thing has happened to my Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Gears of War, and Call of Duty 2 disk. I've called Microsoft and they said that they won't do anything unless I fill out that form and pay $20 dollars, I'm already shipping off my 360 to check for repairs.
So:
1) Has anybody else had this problem?
2) Any advise on what to do?
