There's funny randomness, then there's "trying too hard" randomness.
Funny randomness would be to see an Amish man purchasing a laptop in a Dell commercial.
"Trying too hard" randomness would be something similar to Chef Brian (is that his name?) from CAD online webcomics. It's replaced odd randomness with a form of intentional ad-libs. It seems to be produced by people who are genuinely bad at being funny, not to mention intelligent. It certainly isn't funny sober, but I suspect it would get quite the crowd approval when everyone is stoned.
And by "stoned", I mean "tomato." Hahaha, wow, I'm funny.
