Saved clip should be just a short part of a match.
Saved film, I think is the whole game.

Trying something once will increace your chances of success, because you tried it. Try someting twice, and your chances increase yet again - seeing as you've done it. Saved films are literally just data within the game. While a Film Clip, in a sense, is a bunch of 'burnt' images onto a reel, that plays quick enough, to where you're eyes don't see a gap.

That is a terrible analogy, Rokit.

Saved Films record the actual game data and replay the game itself within the game engine; basically turning it into a cinematic, but you can control the camera.
A Film Clip is just pixels. Like a video.
