*important bug*

When I click on friends online, then goto the Halo 2 tab and check the friend leader boards for Halo 2 Challenge, I get taken to a "this page is broken" page with the following line

Unknown or Unexpected Exception of type : System.ArgumentException

P.S Love the gone fishing pic :D almost as goos as Bless this Mess!

I'm pretty sure that bug has been addressed multiple times now. It's an XBL server problem, and the team is working on it.

Actually, its different to the other Issue's, the Friend leader boards all work, Team Snipers, Team Slayer etc only Halo 2 Challenge doesnt work. Also, I went through the entire thread before making my post.

Hmmm, those black bars are gone. And "reply" and "message user" is to the right of the posts, instead of below them.

Is this a change or a bug?

I'm pretty sure it's a change.

Thanks man.

I like it better this way, personally. The black bars looked kinda "tacky," kinda.

Hi new to bnet after lurking for a year or so.

im a bit frustrated as i have my gamertag linked to my windows live id and used the same sign in for bnet, but yet my profile still says "gamertag not linked" clicking on the link to connect them up takes me to my gamertag page on xbox.com

some of the functions seem missing on editing my profile as well.

anyhelp would be great iv been goin round in circles for the past 2hours.

HELP!!
thanks

It's showing me your Gamertag is linked

Level 5 team slayer and Level 2 Team hardcore, K/D R about .75, thats 400 odd kills and 600 odd deaths

Possible layout thingy to change, with the Message user and Reply links, I think it should be made so the Reply link isnt dragged across to the Edit link for your own post's, I think the Edit link should move to the Reply link

Anyone else still notice the text in your new messages runs off the side a bit? No ctrl-F5 doesn't fix.

I found a typo in the login screen.

Hint: If you have a gamertag and have played on the Xbox 360 console then you already have a Windows Live ID. Youll want to use that ID because it is linked to your gamertag, which gives you all the cool stuff from the Halo 3 Service Record. Tell me where to find it.

In IE 7 on the XBL Friends leaderboard when I switch between playlists (as long as more than two friends have played in the playlist), all the gamertags other than my own are shifted to the right, like so: Image.

Notes:
It takes a couple seconds for the tags to jump right.
a page refresh fixes it so that the list displays correctly (changing laylists messes it up again though)
I have Ctrl+F5'd more than enough to stop all potential issues caused by caching

Uh, going to your profile indicates you have a linked gamertag. I don't see any problem.

I almost believe that clearing my Local Cache has fixed my login problem(Sometime when I sign in it just displays the "Sign In" button still but after click it it basicly refreshes the page but now with me logged in). That or the upate to the site fixed it and I've just been zoning out everytime I log in.

Not a bug but I thought I'd mention it.

Some stuff like friends, messeges, and group links weren't working, but they got better and I think they are working now. Though I haven't gotten any messeges since the updte, wonder if it's just that no one messeged me.

Come check out the The Christian Halo Union. Whether you’re looking for fellowship, intelligent discussion, positive gamers, or maybe you just want to have fun, you'll find it with us. With over 650 members and counting, we're the most active Christian group on Bungie.net.

Everything's screwed up. Take a look at this. That's what Bungie.net looks like running in Firefox. Messed up. Avatars are running into posts where they don't belong; the "Halo 3" and "Halo 2" links somehow found their way into the navigation bar; one of the navigation buttons isn't showing up; the question status of the New Messages and Friends Online (in the top right corner) won't change; It takes me a minimum of two tries to sign in; and the picture behind my avatar in the top right corner shows up as a gray block.

There's probably more problems, but that's all I can think of at the moment.

That means you need to clear your cache. Firefox doesn't look like that.

I'm guilty of not reading the thread before I posted my problems. I was just going to edit my post, but it's too late now.

Anyway, thanks. (Even though I liked the site better before.)

Yeah, they are. I'm liking them more now.

Either someone took my suggestion about making the color change more subtle, or they planned on doing that in the first place. Either way, it makes things a little more organized.

Just had a minor error when I replied to a thread. After I replied it gave me a page saying "Topic not found". I then went back to the front page of the Halo 3 Forum an the thread still existed and it said I was the last poster. So I click the page 13 link to see if my post made it and it gave me another "Topic not found" page. So I tried going to page 12 and sure enough my post was on page 12.

Screenshots:

My post in the thread

Picture of the thread saying there's a page 13 with me on it

ya dude it wont let me link my profile to my gamertag it says my gamertag is something other than it is and when i go to xbox.com it says the url is wrong or something or "this page cannot be displayed"

  • 09.21.2007 4:01 PM PDT

The Halo 2 button at the top of the page is giving me the error:
Halo 2 Player Not FoundWe were not able to find any record of Halo 2 activity for this player. This player may not have played Halo 2 while connected to Xbox Live.
Yet if I go to my profile I can see all of my games and stats from there.

Also, Friend Online and New Messages still have (?) after them no matter how long I let them sit. The New Messages button still works fine and all, other than not showing me if I do have any new messages before I click it, but Friends Online doesn't work at all for me. Anyone else having this problem?

Edit: Wow, I could've sworn I had refreshed my browser cache already, but when I tried it fixed all of those problems. Ignore me.

I seriously needed to update my signature. I'll never forget it, though.

I was in the Halo 3 files forum and "SPOILER" doesn't always appear on campaign shots.

The entry for The Flood in the Community dropdown is missing a space. Right now, it says: Off TopicForum: The Flood.

Now, I haven't read all through this thread, but I assume from the fact that it hasn't been fixed that it hasn't been reported. If it has, I apologise
