I was wondering as to why these changes to the drop down were made, I mean the addition of the halo 3 files is obvious, but I dont see the reason for removing other forums. I thought about it and it simply doesnt seem logical. If it is done by traffic I am sure halo 2 forum has more traffic than the underground, and if done by quality of posting, i'm sure it has a higher quality than the flood(no offense, but the rate the ___ above you threads speak for themselves). I was wondering as to why these specific changes were made.
In my opinion I think that the forums in the drop down should be placed based on their relevance to bungies use. By this I mean forums like the flood should be placed in the "other forums" section, the search functions should be built into their own drop down relating to the present search bar, and the items regarding bungie games should be replaced onto the community bar. It just seems as though the people in the flood would be more able to navigate the site, as they have obviously been coming here, while newer people who would ask questions on halo 2 wont know where to go. Overall I think the ease of navigation would be raised for new users if the forums they are most likely to use would be the easiest to find.
The flood, IMO is an "other" forum, as it doesnt fit any real category on this site, while halo 2 is a part of bungie's gaming history.I made a suggestion in the Bungie.net Community forum on a way Bungie could improve this site's navigation as far as accessing the forums.
