In Zanzibar is there a seconed base, instead of one? I was just curious because on the vids ive watched only showed one base and Spartans were invadeing the base of the elites.

I think it would be better if there was 2 bases.

I am hoping that Zanzabar will turn out somewhat like Death Island from Halo PC, with two bases at opposite ends of the island. From the E3 video it doesn't look to be that way (arial shot) but you never know what could happen between now and November 9th.
Or they could just add an addition onto the beach.

I like how they have it set up. I think its a good idea to have assault type games. This way you're not playing the same damn thing over and over and over again. And yes, this map was set up for only one team attacking at a time. There is only one flag, in the middle of that building.

Zanzibar is specivically designed for single flag capture the flag. For that gametype there is no need for a second base.

There will be plenty of other maps with 2 bases like Water Works and Burial Mounds.

Brings up an intresting point though, It's like when you play 16 player ctf on Chill out. The bases are so imbalanced with this many people, that the red team will almost always win if the teams are evenly matched up. Even with the overshield and shotgun spawn, they're no match for the infinitely spawning redteam with this many players.

We just call this game "Red Team Wins" which undoubtedly will make a return in the halo2 if we play 2flag ctf on zanzabar.

Except that you might still be able to switch bases every 5 minutes or so which would even it out.

Zanzibar is going to be one level that is ideal for a few gametypes and small teams... so I think that 3 or 4 teams would really clutter up the action.

In the Zanzibar Secrets site post, one of the secrets had to do with returning the flag to the beach. Since Zanzibar is a beach landing, it does make sense that one of the bases is actually the beach. That is where one team starts, ergo, it is their "base" of operations even though it doesn't have a building.

they did an aussault game you fools, it was hit and run, 1 flag in the elites base and the mc's had to get it and return it to there spawn point, same thing the other way around elites attacking and mc defending!

The movie that I have with the multiplayer demo clearly says single flag ctf, and from what it looks like it's gonna be kinda like Splinter Cell Extraction mode except without the stealth lol the Spartans have to invade the base and capture the flag, while the Elites have to guard it and prevent the Spartans from extracting it. That's exactly what it looked like from what the movie revealed.
