a level where you can dive though a massive open feild burnt down trees and wrecage used for hidding some broken building on the edge of the map witch can be entered great for sniping but very open and you are able to be sniped and in the very center of this map a very large chemical plant next to a small creek dark black from a spill in the past with huge domes of biohaserd stuff witch can be climbed on or entered for the broken ones for guns at each end of this plant their are human turrets for defence in the past and on one side of the map where the flag for the blue( or any other color) teams flag goes is a small base used as a human camp in this is a scorpion on the out side worthogs and atvs the other side of the map is some of those purple boxes used on silent cartographer some shade turrets on the way to a tipped covenent ship whitch can be partialy entered a flag in a larg room next too a wraith and two banshees oh and in the chenical plant their are four ghosts and a hidden shadow

(( their will be some conflict in the center of the map and lots of sniping look out for the shy though this will support as many players as possable from 40 -60))
i havent thought of a name if any one has a good idea i will take it

Mine is called Sniper Heaven. There are these bunkers and towers on a battlefield with spike pits, booby traps that are not seen but lead you to cool spots. Like a hidden cave that nobody snipes, leaving you the sniper!!! I know it sucks, but I wanted to at least try to get some feedback. Good feedback that is.

My map would be for race only.

okay so i was thinking that there is like a long nascar-style track and you choose a vehicle (any one that you want with weapons) and you race around, meanwhile blasting others.

Level name: unknown ( temporarly going to be called the sequal to that teleportation crazy map in Halo )

This level is a team map, up to 4 teams total...

The Spawn
Each team gets their own spawn, connected to the following:
1. a weapons/items room
2. a Teleportation room

The weapon room contails all the weapons and items the game has, plus it also contains a special spot that removes them as well ( I'll explain later )

The Teleporter room has multiple teleporters (7 in total), each one links to a special arena which you can duke it out with the other team(s). By each teleporter shows the following:
1. unallowed weapons
2. A green light (representing teammates in that arena)
3. A Red Light (representing another team is in that arena or not)

The lights are also throughout the arenas to tell you when your in there alone and not (so a person doesn't run around for hours just to find out the other people are in another arena)

Keep note that each arena also has team specific exit teleporters so you can leave the arena and go back to YOUR TEAMS spawn rooms... You also cannot leave until 30 seconds has passed after you've been shot (this will keep people from bailing right after they get hit)

[color=white]THE ARENA'S[/color]

Arena 1: The death trap
[color=white]Description:[/color] You are on top of a circular platform that is completely surrounded by pits that kill you if you fall, the platform your on is relatively large. There platform is flat and it's basically for attacking the other team in an inclused arena. To keep spawn campers in check, each team spawns in the air under their teams movie exit spawn piece... the block itself (where you exit the teleporter) is invisible, and spins on the edges of the arena so people cannot predict where you'll appear.

1. Sniper Rifles
2. Explosives (except grenades)

[color=white]Exit Portals[/color] - they are all hanging over the edge, you need to jump down from the platform to reach them. If you've been hit and 30 seconds hasn't passed you'll fall to your death instead.

Arena 2: Sitting ducks
[color=white]Description:[/color] This level is very simular to the first one, except each team teleports to their own platform that is very small in comparason to the first arena's platform. You cannot reach the other teams platform because the pit is too large for such.

[color=white]Unallowed weapons:[/color]
1. Sniper Rifles
2. All Explosives
3. Short ranged weapons (shotgun, SMG's, ect.)

[color=white]Exit Portals[/color] = same as Arena 1's

Arena 3 = Ghost Town
[color=white]Description:[/color] It's basically what the map name suggest, your in a ghost town. There are nomerous buildings (all enterable) that you fight ammongst the other teams in. Also, small vehicles are in different parts of the maps for your use!

Arena 4 - Gravity Chamber
[color=white]Description:[/color] Each team ports into a large chamber filled with ledges and platforms everwhere... The place is low gravity so you just jump from ledge/platform to ledge/platform to get from place to place

1. Sniper Rifles

[color=white]Exit Portals[/color] - near where your team spawns into the arena

Arena 5 - Hedgemaze
[color=white]Description:[/color] You duke it out in a hedgemaze, what's there to say? (the hedgemaze is a midlevel sized arena btw). The Arena is very close counter combatish, so this level only support close combat weapons (excluding explosives)

1. Explosive guns (grenades allowed though)
2. Midrange weapons (Battle Rifle, ect.)
3. Sniper Rifles
4. ect.

[color=white]Exit Portal[/color] - near where your team spawns into the arena

Arena 6 - Blood gulch 2
[color=white]Description:[/color] Basically think "Blood Gulch" but with 4 bases (X shaped instead of a line to each. the level will have more tunnels though, support all vehicles, deeper so there's more places the air units can go, ect. The bases themselfs are also bigger and better and possible support turrets.

[color=white]Exit Portal[/color] - near where your team spawns into the arena

Arena 7 - Sniper Arena
[color=white]Description:[/color] Each side spawns in a room of a base, each base contains 3 high towers where they can look across the arena, they also have a front door from which they can leave and try to retain ground outside of their spawns. The goal is to obviously snipe the other team, the terrain outside of the bases is littered with places to hide behind (cover from sniper fire), but is relatively open.

[color=red]Side Notes[/color]
1. This is all one map!!!
2. Each arena (except for the first 2) are at least medium sized to large (ones with vehicles are a definite large)
3. You cannot use another teams exit portals
4. Carrying weapons that are banned from that arena will make it that the portal won't teleport you. (this is the purpose of that pad that removes all weapons/grenades you carry)
5. This level idea came from one that origionated from the origional Team Fortress (QuakeWorld Team Fortress)
6. The weapons area might contain powerups... I haven't figured if it'd be good or not to allow them.

sup dude, its me, anyway, my idea is this, your in this giant playing field with tons of rocks for cover and sniping spots, on each side of the field there is a giant sloping hill with SOME cover. On each hill there are 3 flags, your team has to capture all of there flags before they'r team gets yours, there will be sniper spots, diversions, destructible enviroments enabling being able to make access to your flag harder....or easier. Under ground tunnels can be FOUND note: you have to shoot at the ground in sertain places to open them or something. after like 15 or 20 minutes if one team does not have all the flags then whoever has more wins. You can assign a goal keeper who can camp or do what he wants as long as its not cheap. note:destructible enviroment means you can make rocks collapse and then climb on top of the rubble to get somewhere else.Grenades will be able to blast open walls if your in tite spots but be careful because flying rubble CAN kill you or BLOCK you.

Mine is just crazy. You would be in a small sqaure room with no cover. There would be teleporters aligned on the walls as cramped as you can get. You start with a random weapon. Each teleporter would radomly take you through another teleporter in the room. And sometimes, by random of course, you would get a new weapon by going through the telepoter. Lobing a grenade through a teleporter would also send it through another one randomly chosen teleporter. It would be crazy and only the lucky would survive.

Labarinth Level:
Massivly extensive labarinth leading to a central killing ground. The passages of the labarinth are roofless, as the central killing ground contains an enourmous spire - perfect for snipers and just general hiding. The spire has three entrances: two openings, one facing north, the other south, and a hidden teleporter (possibly randomised in appearance within the labarinth from 3 - 6 possible locations) leads to the upper level of the spire. The spire houses three levels, ground/entry level, 1st level (filled with guns, ammunition NO snipers, as it need to be acquired within the labarinth), top level (possible location for The Flag)
This level could be modified for CTF by having two seperate spires at opposite ends of the labarinth, perfect level for KOTH, a challenging level for Slayer and Oddball, and finally a perfect and most appropriate level for Race.
Of course this would probably be a Covenant or Forerunner construction, else an Aztec ruin.

ok this ones serious. for fighting in ancient rome, i mean the colloseum, streets, palaces, the works. there are recently built steel tower though that stand a hundred yards high. each one is connected to each by old wooden bridges and are effected by wind speed, so you can get nocked off by wind. the bridges connect the top of the bases but it is not wise to travel to each base that way.the bases each have 3 floors and one really tall floor that leads to the top of the base. the buildings and bridges can be blown up, so you can be tacticle and blow up objects in front of the enemies base so its hard for them to get out.there are no teleporters so strategy i pushes to the limit. there are underground sewer passages for ambushes or sneek attacks. and there are no health packs, so gorrila tactics can be a good part in this map. you can take out a tower but it would take 5 minutes of none stop rockets to take one down. the bridges can also be broken. you can go into any building that is inside the city wall and if there is a way to get on top of them, you can, if you know the map well you can blow holes in the ground were sewers are and drop through and suprise the enemy, wart hogs and ghosts are allowed, no tanks cuz you can just blow the whole city if those were in there. this is pretty much my favorite idea for a map, hope you like it

Map Title: Dust n' Echoes
This map will take place in a now abandoned war-torn section of a human metropolis. First off, the "battle-field" for the map will take place in large "courtyard" basically set in the middle of the map. This battle-field will contain many destructible columns and rises to gain advantage over your opponents. The Convenant have abandoned this sector of this city, leaving their ghosts, and other weapons behind. This will simply add flavor and history to the map. Also, tall buildings will surround the area. However, only two of these building are accessable to the player. To give a visual of this to you, imagine that your are over-ooking the center of the courtyard in a sky view. In the top left of this view will be one accessable building, and to the bottom right the other. You guessed it, red base and blue base. The bases will have approximately 1-2 possibly 3 levels. On the highest levels, there will be a few broken windows looking out over the courtyard, to where you may snipe. Also at the base of these levels will be a "old parking lot" with a advanced yet abandoned gate to where it restricts access to the first and lowest lelel of the building to enemy vehicles. You must activate the switch located somewhere of the outskirts of the enemy base to open the gate, or use brute-force ( meaning that heavy artillery, alot, will also take out the gate.) I took some reference for this idea directly form the brilliant minds who created Zanzibar. There will be two alleys in the map, one located next to the "gates". These allys are facing away form the enenmy base, and is most always safe/secure form sniping, form most points. For those who would rather covertly enter the base, abandoned subway entries, are located strategically in the courtyard. In these tunnels there will be debrie (spelling? sorry) to destroy and hide behind, certain weapons and more. Of course weapons will be placed so that no team has advantage over the other. The more-elite weapons will be harder to get and such, etc... Whats great about this kind of idea though, is that it could have taken place in the game, your not placed on a random iceplanet in a boxed in ice-canon. This map could be most ideal for Ctf, as many plares as oyu want really, i would try not go over 12 per team. And also i think it might work for slayer or oddball due to its many screts and tunnels/alleys. Well, I think it would be a cool map (heh i better since i made it), but whatever bungie does its gonna rock. If you read all this, your way cooler than i am. lol

i got another idea, your in a room the size of a blood gulch base, there are red and blue lines that are about 1 foot wider than your body is (6 inches on each side) you fite in the room with 6 or 7 people depending on how big the room you choose is. At the end of every minute GIANT razor blades will kill anyone who isnt standing on they're color and the kills will go to the other team. options would be to turn team color lines off so its just black and white so then the lights go bright light or dim to show you which color to get on. its sounds sorta cool i guess

Two small islands. everthing else is water. a very high ceiling. there would be a bunch of banshees on each island. you respawn by the bashess and take off to dog fight over open water. of course there would be and underwater/ground tunnel hidden somewhere leading to the rocket. and hidden stuff and maybe vehicles randomly placed underwater. It would be soo huge it would be hard to find
