i dont exactly know the difference between the two, but it shouldnt be important. what u need to worry about is the actual number for your color setting, 16 bit or 32 bit, 32 being more colors meaning better looking graphics.
my pc shoes 16 bit being high color and 32 bit being true color so i would say true color is better. as for what u should use, if u have ur monitor specs it should show you what its default would be.

That refers to the number of colors your computer will desplay. 16 bit would be 2^16 colors, or 65536 colors, 32 bit would be 2^32 colors, or 4294967296 colors. Obviously the more colors used, the better the picture will look, so 32 bit would be the way to go.

Oh yeah, 32 bit color is true color (sometimes also 24 bit color), and 16 bit is high color.

Heyyo,

Yeah, True Color's better, but you don't notice too big of a difference in visuals, but your framerate will be worse since it has to deal with a helluva lot more colors. I tend to leave my games colors in 16 bit mode for better framerates.
