Well, I have played Halo probably more than most people have played games period and from the screens, the graphical improvement is phenomenal. I was concerned with possible lag issues that could accompany these improvements and just hope that Bungie can find a way to have people get connected to best possible connections.

I've heard, that Halo 2 uses less gpu, because of the extensive use of bump mapping.

That is, it run smoother than Halo 1.

I heard a lot of the models used less polys but looked better b/c of bump mapping, self shadow, etc.

Cool, Yeah I did hear somewhere that the poly number wasn't much bigger but the difference in graphics is so large it was too amazing to believe!

Plus Halo 2's multiplayer will be built from the ground up to support Xbox Live. So that means less lag issues right there.

I just hope they don't have to sacrifice too much graphical splendor.
