I go around the world leaving a path of destruction in my wake. When I come to a city, grown men cry and women wail. I collect the skulls of my enemies and display them for all to see.........I also kick puppies. For fun.

if you could control them i would be yellin stuff like kill one for once you stupid bastards!!!

I thought Master Cheif, an actual rank in the navy, is the higest rank an enlisted man can achieve. Master Cheif, from Halo, is just a much better tactician than most. That is of course except for the admirals, generals, and ship commanders.

Controlling marines would be lame man!! Dont you know the ODST and MC dont even get along with each other very well. Im sure they would rather do it themselves rather than listen to some big freak in armor tell them what to do (coming from an ODST's perspective) read the books, the MC likes to work with his spartans or work alone

Ok, well either way, you know there will be other military guys with him whather he likes it or not, but the matter at hand is the ability to control them.

well of course theres ganna be troops? But the point is MC dont like the ODST and visa versa, so why would he control them? they can do whatever it is they to do themselves. controlling them would take away from halo 2 b/c its not halo style of gaming. bungie is ganna keep halo 2 as mich like halo as possible but make it like a super revamped ten times better, cooler graphics, more levels, more inticate play, new enemies, weapons, transportation and AI....not controlling your own troops, this is not ghost recon

Greetings. It could be interesting if there was some control over odst's like in a Tom Clancy game. It would be a good tatic to use them as a distraction while you attack in opposite flanks.

I don't want to pause every five seconds to tell the marines where to go, like in Ghost Recon.
