Yeah, I definitely agree with you. I WANT to flush my money down the toilet. I want to pay 50 bucks each for TeamFortress 2 and Portal. They are definitely worth that much. As a matter of fact, I think anyone who doesn't give all of their money to the ever so godly Valve, should be shot. *rofl*
Dude, I think you have bigger problems than just misunderstanding my statement. My main statement is that I WANT TF2 and Portal AND HL2:EP2, but I don't want to be forced to buy the same games 58 times. Imagine when HL2: Ep3 comes out. You'll be saying "what? Half Life is awesome. Im willing to buy Ep1 and 2 again to play Ep3." That's F!@$ed up. I'm curious as to what drug I would have to take, in order to be so delusional.
What I am saying is that you are a douche. Not just any douche, but a douche who is blatantly being taken advantage of, and at the same time you think that Valve is giving you a good deal. Portal is a f!@#ing experimental game, from an experimental team. In other words, it’s a game, but it’s more like an extended MOD. Maybe it’s worth 20 bucks, but 50 bucks? Come on, throw me a bone. Either you’re full of it, or you’re full of crack.
TeamFortress 2 is not worth 50 bucks for the same reason as Portal. Though its not like a MOD, it’s like Day of Defeat. Do you see anyone playing that f***ing game?!? No one in their right f***ing mind would pay 50 bucks for that piece of s***. Though there is a large fanbase for the original teamfortress game, and TF2 is definitely better than DOD, TF2 is not worth 50 bucks, NO WAY IN HELL.I'm not going to argue with your opinion, here, but have you ever even played TF2 or Portal? I mean, I can't say much because I haven't played them myself. But they're full-fledged games; call them glorified mods with gimmicky features if you want. That's equating them to any other retail game that you would find on shelves for fifty bucks. Two games for the price of one (actually, 2.5 considering HL2:E2). My logic, which makes sense to many people besides myself, would deem that as a good thing. Also, I'm not the "douche" here. I'm not a Valve fanboy although they do churn out some damn fine games. I would say that If anyone dislikes Valve more than you, it would be me, but I'm not that irrational.
You know what? You don't want to buy Half-Life 2 again? Fine. Don't buy The Orange Box; boycott it like you say you will. It's actually your loss.
Posted by: Recoton007I wanna buy the black box, because I would actually enjoy playing all three games. I would be willing to pay $29.99 to play EP2, TF2, and Portal. I think this price is fair, and so does Valve. But Valve realizes that they don’t have s*** besides the Half-Life series, so they wanna suck us dry.Yes, what evil minds that want to rob our wallets; how dare they!
Obviously, they're out to make money, and you can't really blame them for that, but you're acting as if Valve is commiting unpardonable sin and holding unholy sessions with the devil and what they're doing is out of malice. No, I don't like to lose money when it could be better spent on better deals, and it's a pain whenever we waste money on things that shouldn't have to be so, but it seems like such a trivial matter that you are complaining about the twenty dollar difference between The Orange Box and The Black Box. Yes, it's a shame that Valve did not decide to release The Black Box, but why are you so irritated over this matter when there are plenty of other more stuff that needs your attention to be pissed off about? Guess what? What you see is what you get.

You my friend, have been manipulated by Valve. They are no doubt a good company. But because they only have Half-Life, they want to suck us dry. Don’t fall into the trap. I’m boycotting the orange box, until they finally give us what we really want. The FREAKING BLACK BOX!!!
Because you speak for angry, upset gamers everywhere, right? We all want The Black Box! We should burn Valve down for making us pay twenty dollars for The Orange Box.
