hello im new to halo and the boards, anywho my aiming for halo is messed. I can't move the mouse when im running which means i can't shoot when im running or change direction, its obviously a major problem. anyhelp?

normal computer, amd 64 and my mouse is cordless but still has a ball, its a labtec.

just for the future, you NEVER want to use a cordless mouse with a computer game. it introduces a bit of lag, which might actually be the cause of your problem. if you insist that this is wrong, than try this,
open your mouses's ball chamber, and take out the ball. inside, there are things that spin against the mouseball and are what cause the mouse to work. theyre prolably filled with lint. clea them

The only cordless mouse that actually works is the Logitech MX1000.

or go in halo and change to defalt settings if that doesnt work look at ur controller settings.
