That is a must.

Bungie, please give us an option in the control setup for this.

Yes. It's annoying that I have to use so much muscle to hold down the stick so I can crouch.

i always hated in MP when you were crouching hiding fro ma sniper, and you accidently move the joystick too far forward and pop up, and you die.

Ill admit with the amount of sneaking around and the resistance to the analog stick my little thumb muscles get tired.

Simple; make it an option.

absollutely i hated it when sniping/hidding that you had to hold the button in!
One other question, did you guys see the e3 halo 2 2004 press converence, well there is an other version of that and thats at some kind of demo booth, i think the fella here is explaning to the guys that played halo 2 on e3, how halo 2 works!
But only know he shows us some real new features, like the beautif explosions of grenades, and having BINOCULAIRS, what button will they use for binoculairs i ask myself?
It would be so cool to look from a distence and see grunts talking and elites, guarding buildings and be able to sneak up to them and hit them in the back, just like in AotCR!

I didn't like needing to hold the button, either. What I was thinking was to let it be combined with a momentary crouch. Clicking crouches, clicking again stands. If you hold for a short moment, it's momentary instead of toggled. I set up input binds like that for another game, but for drawing the sniper rifle and switching back to last weapon rather than crouch and stand. It's not nearly as awkward as it might sound.

or perhaps, if you hold it down for three seconds straight it will lock into a crouch position until you click it again. That would allow you to duck and bounce a bit. I'm not sure if that would work and it would have to be playtested but that might work too.

The only thing I care about is that -blam!-ign stupid problem with MC when you throw a grenade while crouching he just stays crouhced for a good 2 seconds even though your not pushing croush and your totally stuck while some noob looks at you with a shotty before shooting and there aint -blam!- you can do about it

It makes sense that the crouch button is the joystick, its so you can creep while crouchin while stil being able to use all the rest of the buttons

I agree with it being the left thumb stick. Im just referring to the click on or off for crouch instead of holding it down. I also understand the need for bobbing up and down for a fire fight in certian situations. Also I would say that they should fix the problem with the MC standing up t throw a genade through 3rd person when the player in 1st sees that he is crouched. Bungie needs to sychronize the positioning of the MC in 1st person and 3rd person animations to make it consistent. I dont know about you guys but its stupid escpecially for Bungie!
