I'm a die-hard Firefox hater. My hatred for Firefox probably goes deeper than any hate I've ever had for anything in my life. It's like.. if somebody killed your family. That kind of hate.

Probably the biggest concrete reason is the lack of actual tabbed browsing, but I don't know why I hate Firefox so much. I just do. I hate Netscape, I suppose.

My dog would have totally maimed it. My dog kicks ass. She's got to be like 8-9 now, but the only name she'll respond to is "puppy". You can't deny the snazzy of that.

Contrare to popular ideals, I think IE is superior. It's so easy to use, so organised, and fits in with the rest of the system really well.

Avant has all the functionality and ease of use as IE, only with a bunch of kickass features to help you avoid pop-ups and stuff.

I find that the MSN toolbar and Service Pack 2 help me a lot with popups and so on.

And, really, just what do you need out of an Internet browser?

An inbuilt search feature, anti-popup capabilities, and of course, the ability to browse. There's no need to have loads of pointless additional features that users aren't going to look at anyway. Therefore, IE is the best.

There's a couple of other things I want, and Avant delivers. Real tabbed browsing, for one, the ability to disable anything I want, etc.

One could make an argument that "simple things please simple minds", directed towards me.

But really, I know IE like the back of my hand, and can utilise it with a lot of efficiency.

Personally, I haven't touched any of the options in Avant for months since I last set them just the way I like. I know it like the back of my hand, too.

I like Safari, but thats just me, as far as PC browsers, I hate IE based on reasons on how much spyware I've gotten on my computer in the past.

I switched from Firefox to Avant just now...I originally switched from IE to Firefox because of mass popups...but Flash things wouldn't work on Firefox :/ It works on here though, THANKS TANI :D
