Doesn't it seem strange that what you think is the barrel is actually closed off and stores the ammo? After zooming in on someone holding a shotgun, I noticed the top rod with the crosshairs is closed off completely. This makes it so the rounds shoot out of the bottom rod, so it must be for storage (the tope one). But why have crosshairs on the round storage thing? It makes no sense if the shells are shooting out of the bottom barrel when the crosshairs are a good 2-inches above the actual barrel. Anyone else notice how weird this is?

i didnt give it much thought. frankly i care more if the thing blows apart an elite than where the shells go and how it fires.

1- This belongs in either The Library or New Mombasa
2- It's a shotgun. So it works...like a shotgun!

it is so you can load it from the top. the crosshair are on the top because it doesnt. todays shotys have the ammo barrel on the bottom but they changed it around for the game. the cross hairs are on the top because an inch off wont make a difference besides you wouldnt hold the gun upside down just so you can look at the cross hairs on the bottom

I would say point, pull the trigger, pump in a new round, and repeat, rinsing when neccessary.

The shotgun in halo doesnt really have a crosshair any way. Its just a circle where most of the pellets will go at a not too long range.

Yeah well I know it belonged in either forum, but I couldn't decide, so I put it in here.
All I'm saying is that it is very strange the way it actually works amd to have crosshairs is of no use. I knew the top barrel held the ammo. I just don't get why there are even crosshairs a good 3 inches above the barrel, theres almost no need for them.

Posted by: Me (Seamus Aran): This makes it so the rounds shoot out of the bottom rod, so it must be for storage (the top one). I knew it carries ammo in the top "barrel" or whatever you can call it. Obv. that is way he puts ammo in the top of the gun not in the sides.

Why are people answering questions I did not ask?. I asked if it seemed weird the way the gun is made I also asked "why have the crosshairs on the top one" (the round holding barrel), because it seems almost useless.

An yes, I noticed the top barrel was twice as wide as the bottom one. I can't possibly explain everything I know in my first post, otherwise it would be half a page and no one would read it.

My main two questions that I believe no one answered:
1)Doesn't it seem a little weird or uncommon?
2)Is there a need for those crosshairs on round barrel?

I think this topic is cooked. Recon explained stuff pretty thoroughly. I'm just kinda sleepy and still can't fully see why there would even be sights on the M90 but owell, they would a help a little bit when needed. Time to get many day's worth of rest.
