Or, you could just google it and find stuff for yourself.

And, you know, put the forum at less risk for a political flamewar.

Rent an old documentary series called "The World At War" Its a 24 part series that covers pretty much every single thing that happened in world war 2. Its comprehensive, but easy to understand. Its an old documentary series, made in the 70s, but its really good.

I think its only on VHS, it might be on DVD. Basically, if you want to know about Africa in World War 2, then you need to learn about it in context, otherwise its meaningless.

Other than that, ask your teacher, or get some local library books and start reading.

And Shishka, I dont see how discussing factual information about World War 2 could result in a flame war.

Maybe he means the fact that Americans still think that all Germans and German soldiers were Naz.is? Because they weren't - some were, and the men in power were, but most were just serving their country which had fallen under the control of sick bastards (similar to what is happening to America today).

Or maybe, he's talking about the war going on right now, that millions of Americans are completely oblivous to. It's in only one country, but it sure as hell is bad. Thousands of villagers on the border of Sudan are being slaughtered. Anyone who survives, will either get killed, or flee to Chad, where there are already thousands of refugees. But if you look on the American news networks, its all about the Middle East. Only BBC had something to say on this.

OOOOOO! Going a little to far there. usualy the American soldiers thought that all germans were -blam!-s, because thats what they were told.

Crimson Keen, what the hell are you on about. He clearly stated world war 2, just shut up. And Terran grunt, all German soldiers in World War 2 were N.azis, whether they believed in N.azi ideology or not is irrelevant, they were fighting in a N.azi army. And I dont think Americans today still think that ever single German of the period was a N.azi.
