Is there anyway to change my BNet profile name? I want to change it from HARDFOUGHT to SB72 (my Gamertag). Is this possible? If not, can I cancel my BNet account and start a new one named SB72 and link it to my Gamertag?

yah ur Bnet account is directly linked 2 ur .net passport with ur email address and password. u'd have to start a new .net passport to change ur Bnet account

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

Sorry, there is currently no available feature to change your BNet profile name. There is also no way to unlink a gamertag -- you're stuck with this gamertag on this profile. The reasons why this is option is not available are unclear, but most people around here (including me) believe that this is to prevent the shenanigans that some users on this site have a LONG history of doing.

Sorry man, you're stuck with it. You can ask Achronos (Bungie.net overlord) to change your BNet user ID via private message, but he is unlikely to do so except in the most extreme of circumstances. Unless you have an extremely good reason, you may not want to waste your time.
