im am running a linksys WRT150n and it worked great for H2 and all my other games. i am running static ip so i can print to a network printer. my problem is when i try to disable NAT, i get no internet then i enable it, and i get internet. I run Test XBL on my 360 and says it has a problem with DNS number when its disbaled. iwant to disbale NAT so its open and still get internet to everything on my network. What do i do? (currently set to moderate)thanks

You need to enter the DNS servers you use in the part of Xbox network configuration that allows it. You can usually find them on the status page of your routers configureation.

Paranoia is a very comforting state of mind. If you think they're out to get you, it means you think you matter.

Make sure that your 'printer' works and that both are not using the same I.P addresses(I know you said you are using static I.Ps but -blam!- happens) Also make sure you are using the correct DNS server, or that your static I.P actually works.

Well there isn't an easy button on any router, xDD.
You have to forward the necessary ports on your router.

Heres a guide on how to forward ports for your router.
http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Li nksys/WRT150N/default.htm

Now... you need to forward these ports...
TCP 88
TCP 3074
UDP 3074

Now, go to the network settings and make your ip for your xbox something.
enter your own number for X

make the xbox ip 192.168.1.XXX
the gateway should already be 255.255 or something like that...
and i think it asks for a router or something... make it the address you enetered to get in your router to forward the ports.

last.. make the ports forward to the ip that you put in your xbox.

I hope i could help... post any questions
