I work here: Sound Devices, LLC. We make bad-ass field audio gear, and you think that's awesome. My messy desk (With work-related items on the computer screen).

One does not simply grenade jump into Mordor...

I don't know if this has been brought up before, so if it has, just flog me. Is there any way (Or any desire from any users here) to sort search results by date? When I'm searching for something in the forums,, I'm generally concerned about the most recent discussions, but the results generally tend to be from a year or 2 ago...

"Whatever exists, whatever in creation exists without my knowledge exists without my consent. These anonymous creatures may seem little or nothing in the world. Yet the smallest crumb can devour us. Any smallest thing beneath yon rock out of men's knowing. Only nature can enslave man and only when the existence of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before him will he be properly suzerain of the earth."

I wouldn’t mind seeing several options for the search feature. It would certainly be helpful in many cases to be able to search all cases through each individual forum rather all cases in all forums. And in addition to that, perhaps options for sorting through the forums.

I really don't mind that you blocked my topic but my topic was trying to explain in a little more detail that the search engine isn't cutting it more than just one point of interest "sorting out the search by dates" (which is a good idea) but I added a lot more to this such as the fact that i can't find any good map variants or film clips in the new halo 3 files forum just by searching through it by myself and I was wondering how Bungie is finding their favorites from the huge heap of stuff in the file forums. As you said in this post the search is better than nothing but as I mentioned in my topic with the new Bnet update and the fact we were promised a "search that does not suck" I was wondering why didn't we get it. It just seemed that my topic was different, explained a few problems clearer and broader than this point of interest topic.

so here is a link to my topic because I am not going to copy and paste it to this one because mine is more detailed and included some more interesting why nots and maybes for Bungie's search engine.
