Trailer Park Boys ~ One of the best Canadian made comedies ever.

These are suggested steps that may get your NAT fixed and able to connect to your friends.

Follow the directions:
1) Write down your IP that your Xbox 360 is reporting.
-Systems tab
-Network settings
-Edit settings
-Now it will display information including your Xbox’s IP address.

2) Go to your PC and connect to your router via its address. Ex. 192.168.0.1 (keep in mind everyone’s is different so check your router manual if you don’t know what it is)
3) Go the DMZ (de-militarized zone) section in you router settings.
4) Set the IP which your 360 is using to be outside the DMZ.
5) Go back to 360 and reboot it. Also reboot wireless gaming modem unless you have a cable hooked up to your 360 direct from router.
6) Do a "connect to Xbox Live" test and make sure the NAT test reports as "open" after the test is complete. If it still reports as moderate then you have not set the router /IP correctly in the DMZ.
7) Everything should work now.

Furthermore, this Xbox Support page may help you further on your NAT issue. If you still are having problems with your NAT, contact Xbox Support , 1-800-4MY-XBOX and they'll give you expert advice.

Can you go to the manufacturers web page like linksys.com and put your xbox in a DMZ by manually typing in it's ip address? That worked for me when I connection trouble on both mac and pc and xbox 360.

But will that make the NAT open for him?
P.S. I believe that some routers can't have their NAT open... you might be out of luck.
