Marty rules, and the cartographer song was badass!

Yup, the musics cool, although for people who prefer the radio chatter and the marines lines there should be an option to turn down the music vol. and turn the sound effects up. and vice versa.

Did you not hear the electric guitars screatching away?

  • 06.04.2004 2:12 PM PDT

I hate everything, but it's not my fault.

Why would you not like the music? You must think all FPS's have to have rock music, and rock isn't bad, but Marty is better (at least for Halo, I don't think I'd want Halo music in UT2004 and Battlefield Nam).

Im not saying that there shouldnt be music, its just that after playing the game it would be nice be able turn it off. A song can be good but hearing that many times ugh. ON/OFF not totall of ban of it. Read the poll

yes music "blaring" not music. it also interferes with the in game dialogue on certian things.

The music is awsome. It impowers you, like a battlecry while charging into the heat of battle. You don't want to sit in the corner crying like a baby while all you can hear are shots firing from all sides. You want to charge out as guitars jam down and and entire orcestra plays behind you.

I remember them saying that they were working on that problem. Such as when Cortana says something important when guns are blazing, marines are yelling, and a grenade goes off all at the same time, so you can't use that as an argument.

you have to be able to hear the grenade hit the ground next to your opponent for you to really enjoy the show the music sets the mood it is invisible during the combat and scarry when you know they are close to you but you don't know where.

the music stays

I don't know. I've always found the music ques quite appropriate every time they come up. Sort of helps my combat mode htat I get into when I play. The only reason why I would even want to turn the music off is so that I can record different combat moments and then put my own music in (this is during the editing process, not Halo 2) for my Halo videos that I make. But that is about it.

two words: custom soundtrack. sorry but SliPKnoT and hatebreed are good pick me ups before the actual action gets underway which gets me into a more violent mindset. I'd like it in SP but if it were just in MP I'd be well more than happy, hell i'd be estactic

there should still be the base soundtrack but hey I really only want it because I don't have a stereo hooked up so I can't just mute the music and listen to music from another source
