Without a search option I have no idea whether or not I posted about my clan. I know I added it to the Directory though.
The Dark S Warriors (Shadow Warriors) are in a continuous process of building ranks. The biggest problem to date is the varied times we are all on, making clan play nearly impossible.
What I am looking for:
Well rounded players who don't mark out for one-shot kill weapons. Having a few snipers is great, so long as they can handle themselves head-to-head as well. Having rocket launcher hounds is not good. Having sword freaks is also not good. IMO the sword is a waste of time and I don't want anyone who feels the need to grab it right away for any reason other than to hide it from the enemy.
People that are on the same times conssitently. Based off of EST time zone, I could use a few people that would be on between 8 a.m. and noon or 2 p.m. (overnight schedule of work gives me -blam!- online times) as well as a few people in the evening/late night hours.
People with communicators only. In Team Skirmish I tend to keep my mic muted unless I have to talk. This occurs with friends/clan members too, but moreso with people I don't know. However, the ABILITY to communicate is essential. I'll be the first to pipe up so long as there's something important I need to tell the team, and if the clan ever came together enough, I would want to practice and develop plans and such.
People with plans, ideas, or skills. Can you bounce the flag on Colossus? Do you have special ideas or tactics to try against a team? We want you! Too often team games I'm in break down into chaos because there is no plan or the plan is between two people that are in a party (Shadow and I were on Neutral Assault on Coagulation, the other two in their own party, they and I get to the base to arm the bomb, Shadows killed halfway to us, I die next, they get attacked and killed right as we respawn (now kids, on Team Objective Games, where do you respawn?) and I hear them -blam!- that Shadow and I are at our base, and they quit).
People active on Bungie.net. Considering this thread is ON Bungie, to say that is silly, but still. I want people that will also join the Group set up here for the clan. This will help with communication as well.
People unafraid of acting silly or at least listening to other people act silly. This is a video game. If you can't have fun doing it then why play? One of my favorite matches was recently with one clan member and two unknowns playing Team Crazy King on Ivory Tower. Come halfway through the match I broke down and started yelling "BOB DOOLLLLLEE!!" when I attacked the other team, and cracking Bob Dole jokes/impersonations (long story, has to do with the Vote Bob Dole clan). I made an ass out of myself but by the end of the match (I forget who won, I think they did) both teams were laughing their asses off.
Appropriate trash talking/taunting. Keep your trap shut if you're running arounf with a sword. But if you catch a sniper off guard with anything less than a rocket launcher, toss a few words his way. Just don't be a douche about it. The best taunting is done when someone has taunted you first (either in the middle of a head-to-head mid-match and you win, or if they taunt your death and you kill them next).
Win or lose, be gracious after a match, unless the other team whines or gloats or lag-cheats, then tell em off. Again, it's a game. If you get owned, own up to it. Congradulate the other team on whipping your ass. Unless they camped with a sword, rocket, and sniper, then screw em. But I say if a fair war was waged, then the winner deserves a bit of glory.
Don't leave in the middle of a game. Ever. These people suck. If you leave a game, have a reason. One clan member of mine did that to me a number of times, and when I finished the game (400 or so games and I've quit once maybe twice) he was online in matchmaking, no message. I removed him from my friends list. Leaving cause you don't like the gametype or get whipped the first round is unacceptable.
I may add more if I think of them.
Links to the group and Clan Stats are in my sig. My GamerTag and my Bungie Login are the same, add me anytime.
