Hallo!

Firstly, I'm a German so my english is bad - sry for that ^^

Now, my first problem.
It's impossible for me to get AA in Halo PC, I got a Radeon 9800 Pro and the newest ATi Driver.
In the CCC AA and AF is at highest selections, but the Game hasn't any AA - it's so nasty o.O
can u help me?

second prob is, that ALL Sounds, exept the announcements of the MP, are very 'gloomy' (I don't know if it is the right word... it's not 'clear'). Also the sound is not so loud like the announcements.
for the Rest of my System, look in my Sig, thx!

Heyyo,

AA = Anti Aliasing, google it. It prety much makes models less edgy and smoother.

AF = Antiscoptic Filtering. At high settings (x8 or x16) there's virtually no rendering lines, and the texture detail remains incredible even over long distances. ;)

From memory, I think Halo doesnt' support AA and AF.. CONFIRMED, found this at tweakfactor.com:

A couple important notes to start off with; anisotropic filtering and antialiasing DO NOT have any visual effect on Halo but it does have a major effect on the framerates and playability. The reason behind this is Halo renders the game a little differently due to some of the cool effects like the camouflage and the zoom on the sniper rifle. Without getting into the technicalities behind this, just understand that neither does anything and they should both be off for Halo.
