Subject: Screenshot management on Bungie.net

For a start, I have not been able to work out how to select which screenshot to post on the front of my profile, it is always the last one I uploaded. This is fine, but I havent worked out how to delete any of them either, IE I cant delete one and upload it again.

Secondly, I had a connection problem once and one of my screenshots didnt upload. I can only, therefore, upload it to my fileshare.. and it won't appear as the picture on my profile.

So essentially what i'm asking for (or how to do) is:

- Delete screenshots from the hi-res section
- Upload screenshots to the hi-res section
- Allow users to change which one they want to use on the front of their page

If you can do any of that already, any help anyone can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I do not know a way to delete the Hi Res Screens. But they should upload automatically to the Hi res section anytime you take a screen shot. You can change the screen shot by saving any Hi Res screen to your gallery . And then viewing your gallery and checking the....use this screen as your trophy shot .

Hope that helps a little.

Edit...Sometimes it takes awhile for the screen shots to upload to the hi res section.

Ah! Yeah it does.. somewhat.. but like I said - I got a connection issue when I was trying to upload one after a game so now it wont appear on my hi-res shots.

Seems if it fails it just doesnt.. and that shot cant be viewed in that section (although, I did upload it later in my file share section.. but it was nice to have them all together)

Here's how to choose with picture goes to your front page:

Go to 'Hi-Res Screenshots'

These show all the recent ones you uploaded. This contains your last 30 uploaded pictures. Upload any more, and the first ones start getting deleted. Under each picture, there is an option to 'Save to My Gallery'.

Choose that option and it will not be in your 'Service Record Gallery', where they are safe forever, but you can only hold 20 of them. Once they are in your 'Service Record Gallery', there is an option on the top left of every picture to 'Set as Trophy Shot'. This is the option you use to set your front page/Service Record picture.

Hope that helps!

edit: Woops, sorry Slim Dog! Totally did not see your post.

What do you do if it never uploads? I took three screenshots yesterday while playing Forge, and only one of them uploaded. Screenshots I've taken before and after playing Forge yesterday have come up just fine, but two of the ones that are currently on my 360 aren't in my Hi Res Screens section. Should I just manually upload those two via File Share? That seems like kind of a pain.

Why don't you just give me ONE SECOND!

I think I heard from Abe Froman is that the shots will take awhile to get to bungie.net. (I'd assume because of heavy traffic) The first screen shots I took took almost 2 days to get on here. If they never upload, I'd say to send them again or contact someone

If a screenshot fails to upload, you won't really get notification. You can only tell if it fails by seeing if it skipped (i.e., the one after it appears fine, but it never pops up). Unfortunately, you can "resubmit" a screenshot, your only alternative is upload it via a file share, but that will have limitations. Sorry about that, but the recent screenshots and file share don't directly play nice with each other.
