I don't think that you have anything to worry about considering Bungie is a part of Microsoft which is a pretty reputable company.

Maw

Having a live ID poses a risk to your live ID. It's what I like to call living on the edge.

Hello! I normally don't post on these forums and only recently started to bother with logging in order view my friends halo 3 stats. Anyway when I begin to do so firefox pops up several messages which say something along the lines of...

"Although Firefox is submitting your information over a secure line (Or something) some of it is not encrypted and my easily be read by outside sources."

Or

"Bungie.net does not hold some certificate to verify this information (Blah blah blah) this site could be posing as another to try to steal your information."

Should I be worried? I trust bungie and all but my live ID has my credit info under xbox live.

That's just Firefox being paranoid.

"Bungie.net does not hold some certificate to verify this information (Blah blah blah) this site could be posing as another to try to steal your information."You put your password or login name in incorrectly, causing the Live ID system to refuse to create a certificate. Again, Firefox is being paranoid.

Should I be worried? I trust bungie and all but my live ID has my credit info under xbox live. Just don't check 'save my e-mail address and password' and you should be fine.

It is possible for someone to make a page that looks a LOT like a WLID login page, but in reality it is just waiting for your to put in your information. By being sure of the domain address, you can spot a phish attempt.

b.net + phishing = sophishing?
