Alright, since Halo 3 is out, I can ask this question.

Halo 2s over shot from the plasma pistol was WAY unbalanced. Therefore it was referred to as the 'noob-combo'. I may have used this technique in match making maybe twice.

In Halo 3, I know that it has been toned down, however, I have yet to use it.

I was wondering what the community thought. Is this STILL a noobish, unbalanced and easy-to-get-a-kill weapon (with the proper combination)? Should I still be mad if I get killed with the plasma pistol overshot and BR?

Respectfully, though by your response I don't know if that's warranted, I'm assuming you have yet to try the PP/BR combo in Halo 3 zarmack. It's now pretty damn hard to use.

But it's still called the noob combo, simply because everyone knows what you're talking about... Although there have been very few times when I've needed to call it out (the occasional VIP game, maybe).
