I noticed that as well. Before the fix even. It's annoying as heck to see someone has replied, but you just cannot read that reply.

I just give up and come back an hour later, by which time the thread has been flooded or is lost among the mess of the Webmaster's cage.

On the topic of this, it takes too long for the post count to update. For example, I came back to this thread looking for a single reply by Tanikaze to find three replies, and then the system still claimed that there was only a single reply.
