Why did you take the trip mine out of Valhalla?
Why is it that in certain maps in forge, different items, vehicles etc are available, and some are not. Could we not just have everything available for every map? (I can understand that a banshee on Guardian would be pointless, but I want a flamethrower on sandtrap. :))
Why is there no clan system for Halo 3? I have heard rumors of it, but nothing official by Bungie or Microsoft. Me and my friends were talking about clans for ages, and were majorly disappointed when it was released without clan support. Will this be in a future update, and if so, what will be included in the clan 'package'?
Why not have a "Custom Game" selection in the Social Matchmaking Playlist which are custom games approved by Bungie? (so as not to let boosters make the game their playground)
Also, as more of an idea as a question, following the post before me, I believe it would be nice to have an "Invasion" game or something of the type, in which one team defends a certain objective (maybe just a flag, like in the usual game), but the attacking team land down in pelicans / (forgotten the name of the covenant similar) and wreak havoc from above. That is a very loose idea by the way. I just always feel the campaigns on games (obviously due to scripting, and this is nothing you can change at this point, but just to make me feel better :P) tend to feel so much nicer than the multiplayer. The campaign, using scripting, involves the player more, and I'm still waiting for a game (Medal of Honor: Airborne is almost there) where (to use that game as an example) your jumps out of the plane do not always go correctly, and sometimes you will slip or stumble, and so it will therefore effect your jump.
I know what I sound like, and I was always the kind of guy to play around on those "Realism Mods" on Call of Duty, making it so that you fell over if you got shot in the leg, and dropped your gun if you were shot in the arm, and were definitely always dead when shot in the head :P, but I just feel that such things only seem to happen in the campaign using scripting elements, and I guess my question for this long, long paragraph is:
Could you not integrate a system into a multiplayer game that uses percent chance to decide the outcome of certain activities that a player might engage in?
Such as jumping out of a plane, and the possibility of slipping or the plane jerking as you jump, or such activities as shooting your gun and it suddenly appears to be jammed (I always had the idea that to show your gun had jammed a red light would flash on it, but only attentive players who saw the small light would know, and fix it before they got into a fight)
