Please make the banshee less off a superwepon in btb Valhalla.
There is only one weapon on the map that can destroy the thing effectively, the Spartan laser, and the whole match becomes weapon control, which is not fun. I would like to see 2 Spartan laser spawns on Valhalla btb.
The missile pod will lock on but the missiles are too slow to catch the banshee, the stationary turrets sensitivity is too slow to shoot the banshee unless it's either flying straight at or away from you, and the other weapons are just plain ineffective.
Also get rid of the secondary fuel rod cannon blasts from the banshee. The only place you can avoid death from the secondary shot is inside one of the bases. The boost is -blam!-, whenever the banshee pilot gets low shields he just jets off in an instant and comes back full shields with a big plasma ball ready to kill you.
In conclusion the banshee needs the following things-
-To be slower so the missile pod is actually effective
- Lack of boost or slower boost or a short boost that regenerates like with the chopper
- take more damage from ar/br
- To have the secondary fire disabled in matchmaking
- a delay on the time it takes to perform tricks, so the pilot can constantly be doing tricks.
It's ridiculous. When I go 29 and 13 and the majority of my deaths were from the secondary fire of the banshee because even if I hide behind a rock it is still an instant kill. I never once touched a vehicle and I still did better than everyone on their team. Skill should be rewarded, not punished with an instant death from a banshee. The other team had 26 banshee kills. Getting in a banshee shouldn't guarantee you an instant killing frenzy.
It should at least take some skill, like every other weapon on halo, but no 'I'll just fly over there, aim in his general direction, press B, and get an instant kill because I can't get a kill with any other weapon.
