Sniping...noticably harder in halo 3 than in halo 1 & 2. My question is why are headshots now not always a one hit kill with the sniper rifle? I've checked this in theater mode many many different times to make sure that I'm not just going insane.....but there are plenty of times where the shot goes right through the enemy's head and it doesn't kill them....Why????

Oh almost forgot, i hear that halo 2 and 3 maps are huge 9 ( i admit campaign maps r very big and great!) but the muiltiplayer seems 2 b geting smaller, apart from sand trap but that map isnt very interesting... for example hang em high on halo 1 is a huge indoor map and the remake doesnt give it justice (in my opinion)k thanks guys p.s halo 3 was a !#@$! great game !

how the hell do you change player respawn points in forge? is it even possible? the one now is for flags and objectives only spawning.

A.) Is there any progress on a patch for the Disc Read Error problem that many are experiencing?

B.) Why are custom games unsearchable? I hate matchmaking, a lot. So, for me, this is a big deal. Will this (hopefully, but doubtfully) be added in a future update?

Instead of asking question/s, I'll just create a list of requests:

- The theater: whether you're watching campaign or multi-player, it should always incorporate the basic abilities to fast-forward, rewind, pause, and jump forward and/or back chapters. unfortunately this is not the case and it needs to be fixed. As countless other people have already stated its extremely inconvenient, for instance, to sit there holding the right trigger to fast-forward to a point in the game thats 25 minutes in.

- Clans: bring them back along with ranked clan matches.

- Communication: when someone speaks into the mic, regardless of whether theres teams or not, only people in close proximity of that player should hear them. For team speak and only team speak, the use of the D-pad should be necessary.

- The hammer: kill the delay when switching from another weapon to the hammer; It's extremely irritating and makes no sense. I understand that you guys programmed this in maybe thinking that someone carrying the hammer would otherwise hide it until an unsuspecting victim gets close, and then whip it out at the last second for a quick kill. The very same thing happened in H2 with the sword, which, suffice to say, was slightly overpowered in that sense. But the face of the matter is, now enemy players can spot that huge hammer on their target's back so there is no surprise.

- Melee: power it down slightly. It just deals too much damage, period.

- The Mauler: once again too powerful. when a single mauler shot and a melee can kill before a shotgun at close range, theres a problem.

- The AR: shorten its range (make it a little less accurate). It really shouldn't be able to outdo a BR at mid to semi-long range.

- Service record glitch: under the campaign where it lists "Enemies KIA", often times it says 0 whereas under "Friendlies lost" it will list an actual number.

- H2 tricks: everything like BXR, BXB, YY, XB, double-shot, etc. I know it's still very early and tricks such as these may not have gotten a chance to be exploited as of yet, but the ones I just named need be in H3. It's what separated the pros from the casual players.

- Forge weapon placement: you should be able to place any weapon,any number of times(up until the budget is depleted) at any place in any level. The restrictions you guys have once again make no sense.

Even though it's unlikely any bungie employee will even lay eyes on this post among the 90 something other pages of posts, I'm hoping they see it and take at least some of what I said to heart. Thanks guys and great job delivering one of the best games to date.

Hey, Bungie. I sat through the entire Halo/Halo 2 cutscene with commentaries by Joe, Marty and Jason, and it was really fun. But I noticed they were lamenting all the awesome stuff that got cut from those two games. Is there a chance you might release some more campaign content that got axed from Halo 3 or the other two games via XBL or as an expansion pack, kind of like how Bethesda released Shivering Isles for Oblivion? Because, seriously, I would be happy to give you guys even more money to experience the awesomeness that would ensue in the Forerunner Tank level that never was.

I Loved the game
Why didnt you guys put any of the other spartans in like Fred or kelly becuase i think the game would have been even better then. How come you never mentioned any of that in the begining as in why he became a spartan? I no why but you guys would have made the game so much more epic then it already is. (You guys did an awesome job you should make more halo's like when he was a kid training and it would be the begining but anyways you guys rocked again.)

Why was the trip mine's magnetizing to vehicles ability that was seen in the beta taken away?

In one of the vidocs you guys talk about the Trip Mine. It's said that you can drop a trip mine right before a Warthog is about to splatter you and sure, your trip mine will kill you, but it'll also kill the Warthog. It's shown happening in video form on the vidoc. This isn't the case with the trip mine anymore. In the beta, you could do that. In the final game, if you drop a trip mine (on the one multiplayer map they're on by default, Sandtrap) before a vehicle is about to splatter you, it will go directly through the vehicle and do absolutely nothing but mock you with its beeps as your body flies away from its location after being hit by the vehicle.

The trip mine just seems so... worthless without the magnetizing ability. You can't drop one on a Warthog the other team left in the middle of the map and just leave it there, to eventually hear "Double Kill" when two fools go to get in it.

Oh, and about Sandtrap being the only map with trip mines, why were trip mines removed from Valhalla?

MLG sucks

Why is there still push to talk? everyone hated it in the beta and we certainaly still hate it now.
Also are there going to be any new maps any time soon, also any new weapon plans?
Is there gonna be a halo 4, well maybe not a halo but another game with MC?
Has Bungie Really split up thier partnership with Microsoft?
But thank you bungie for the great game, it had everything i wanted it to have and compleatly lived up to the hype, Love the Wart Hog Run, whose ever idea it was to put in another one, I wanna marry you.

Is there any chance you will be making more elite armor? I think it would be good to see more because they have alot less options than the spartans and they have to do insane things to get any of it. Like with the commando helmet. Overkill in a ranked free for all match seems kind of... close to impossible if you ask me. I dont think I've ever even seen the opportunity to kill everyone in the match within four seconds... Most of the spartan armor that requires things like that can be done during campaign.

A: First off, you can’t earn any mission completion achievements if you play on Easy. Secondly, don’t quit the game until you see the Achievement indicator appear on screen.
I'm playing through the entire campaign on Normal, and have recieved my achievements for each of the first four missions. However... After completing the fifth mission, watching the longest cut-scene in history, and continuing through part of the sixth mission (without quitting once), I received no achievement.

What's up with that?

Possible update in the near future? To fix problems like the sniper bulllet being delayed? And what about tuning the assault rifle even more, its got too much range, only 3 shots and then a melee then thats a kill, headshots dont count anymore, etc.

Is it me, or are elites easier to kill than Spartans in matchmaking?

I always seem to be outdone a little bit more in AR-Melee charges, and shots seem more accurate. Is it just me, or is it something about the character models size and shape?

When in theater mode, why is it that after you unlock the camera to be in free flying 3rd person view you cannot return to 1st person view? How do you get back to 1st person view so that you can see your weapon's sights?

I like games and stuff

Two complaints:

1) Bring the push to talk feature from Halo 2 back, Halo 3's is just ridiculous. I don't see how hard it is, when people are close they can hear you and when your teammate is on the other side of the map, you push to talk. It worked in the beta, it'll work in the final game.

2) Forge seems unfairly limited. I don't understand how when we put down a crate and reach the limit, we can't put down anymore when our budget is well over 500.

Questions, questions, questions. Oh where to start?

Why were the replacement of Chief's new glove armor. Even a simple "Yeah chief, you got new two new toys to play with" kind of line would have been suffice.

Why was the whole BELIEVE ad-campaign never actually mentioned, related, or somehow even inputted into Halo 3. Basically the way Chief saved the day is totally different in the BELIEVE videos, rather than the actual campaign. It just seems like such an epic monument of awesomeness that is that whole diorahmaa (Spell Check) should have some relativity to the actual game?

Kudos on Halo 3 boys, I love the game and I love you guys for the blood sweat and tears youve put in, job well done.
