first off, i apologize for not reading every question already asked, but seeing as the thread already has 105 pages, i'd rather not spend the next week or my life reading halo 3 rants.
first off, why can't we talk to the enemy team in matchmaking? I used to love talking friendly, light-harted -blam!- to the other team after blasting the head off of an enemy swordsman with a shotgun. Why can't I do that? Also, in halo 2, half of my strategy was feeding the opposing team false information. For example, sneak into an enemy base, and say something like "okay guys, the other team is coming through the gate!" Now, teams not explicitly familiar with their own team will assume this message came from their brethren, and will all head to defend the gate. Meanwhile, my team sneaks in opposite the gate, and take their poorly defended flag. But halo 3 seems to think that the chance of inaproprateness outweighs any other function of enemy to enemy chat, and negates the whole thing. I think this was a poor choice.
also, i agree with those who say that you should be able to rewind easily in the theater. Often times I see a great maneuver/kill/event, and want to easily rewind and review it in slow motion or from another angle. But this option is simply not available, I have to rewind by "chapter" by calling up the menu.
Thanks for you're time guys, halo 3 remains an excellent game besides its handful of flaws.
edit: also, why is does it seem as if 90% of the team slayer playlist is shotty snipers? fun game, yes, but it is too frequent.
