83 pages. O_o Big chances that what I'm about to ask has already been asked several times already or wont be noticed, but what the heck:
1. I know you're looking into it, but what's causing me and many others to only get the message "Information could not retrieved from the Halo 3 server" when trying to do anything online with Halo 3, and how far have you come fixing the issue?
I really wanna try out multiplayer soon. :(
2. Why can't we skip forward or backwards a "chapter" in saved films of Campaign like we can with Multiplayer films?
It's so boring if I wanna see something cool I did at the end of a level and have to watch through a 2 hour long video of my self dying over and over again houndreds of times before I finally get to that part. Or if I accidently miss a cool part it's too late to go back and review it.
3. Got any plans on making a feature that will remove failed attempts from saved films of Campaign?
So that all scenes of ourself dying over and over and over and over at the same stage of a level will get removed, from checkpoint to death, so that when all these scenes are removed it will be a smooth video of yourself running through the level without dying making yourself look a bit more heroic.
4. Can you fix the graphic glitch of bullets and projectiles coming out of the players heads instead of their weapons?
I actually know why it's like this, and likely it won't be fixed since it would probably take a lot of remodeling of both the 3rd model and HUD, but still hoping. Hard to explain, but the reason it's like this is because the HUD and the (fake) arms holding the weapon you see through the eyes of your spartan or elite doesn't match the way the real model seen from the outside is holding the weapon. The arms, weapons, and legs you see in 1st person is really just fake 2D "paint ons", not the real 3D model. When fireing a weapon in 1st person it looks right because it looks like you're holding your weapon close to your eyes. In 3rd person however it can be like almost a meter difference between the weapon position and the bullets of projectiles coming out of it, depending on the weapon (Brute Shot for example). The bullets and projectiles come out of the players heads. Yesterday for example I was watching a video of my self on The Storm, shooting at a wraith through a window with a Brute Shot. In 1st person it looked like I was holding the Brute Shot up and through the window. When I deattached the camera I saw my self pointing the Brute Shot to the wall constantly fireing while the bombs kept flying out of my head. If this was reality I would have been blown to pieces. :P
Wall of useless explanation over. Anyway... fixable? :)
