Service record only updates games played when you are connnected to live. If you are not connected I do not believe they will ever update. I played a couple of campaign levels offline and B.net did not update after I reconnected.

I've had the problem of ranking up in matchmaking (e.g. Private, Recruit) and B.net not updating that new rank until I have completed another multiplayer match as that rank.

I have also experienced similar problems but WAS connected to live at the time. For example, my current multiplayer rank on live shows as Corporal (I don't play much) but on Bungie.net it shows private. I also have time lag on my recent films list.

Slightly different but still a little annoying is that the screen shots I took when completing the game were named co-op, even though I was flying solo.

Bit strange, but nevertheless a beautiful game.

I played Halo 3 on three different days. Only one day did I have my 360 connected to xbol live. The two missions that I played while connected to live are showing up on my service record but none of the others are. Oh I forgot to mention that I was playing co-op story mode not online multi-player. I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

So I thought it was just a matter of giving the system time to catch up. My achievement points did not update until the day after I connected to xbox live again. All my achievments points are updated but still the service record is missing the other 5 missions that I completed. Does anyone know why this is? Do you have to have your 360 connected to live in order to have this information update to your Bungie account. If so I guess I'll have to make sure I plug the cable in everytime. But since I wasn't playing in online mode I didn't think I needed to.

One more strange thing... The achievements that I earned while I was not connected to Live that have subsequently updated all say that I did them on January 1, 1753. It appers that there is some sort of time warp on the Bungie site. LOL. I am not really worried about that as much as I am about the missions I completed not showing in the service record.

If anyone has any insight on this please let me know as it is driving me crazy.

technodai, my profile does the EXACT same thing. It doesn't update anymore, and I ALWAYS play while connected. My ranks, exp and played games haven't updated in about 3 or 4 days. This site is not doing so well for some of use.

Plus, I can't get the little Bungie symbol next to my GamerTag while online. Every time that I save the 'SHOW' option for 'CUSTOMIZE HALO 3', it just reverts itself back to 'HIDE'.

This is all getting pretty annoying...

I noticed that my service record has stopped updating. I have been playing while connected to live. I made Sarge last night and the website has not yet reflected this change in rank. However, it appears that my matches appear in the history screen. Very odd. Perhaps, it is the load on the servers? Hope it gets fixed soon. Bungie did a great job with this site and I absolutely love the detail it shows!

Bungie.net will not record your games unless you are signed into Xbox Live at the time. Achievements earned while offline will eventually be updated online, but your Halo 3 specific stuff does not have the capability. Additionally, Xbox Live reports the "date earned" for all acheivements earned offline as January 1st, 1753 to us. We're probably going to modify bungie.net to hide that date, since obviously that doesn't make any sense to you.

Generally, when playing Halo 3, is a VERY good idea to be signed into Xbox Live at all times.

Mine usually updates as soon as I finish a game, but today, it hasn't shown a single game from today, and also my Bungie symbol has disappeared from my nameplate.

I played for like 4 hours today and my Service record did not update at all

Last time it updated was last night. It should say 34 experience and more than 112 games played

As soon as i got the game i plugged myself into Live, all connections optimal, yet still my first playthrough achievements were dated a couple hundred years before i was born (for a couple days they were dated correctly, then i must have gone back in time without my knowledge to complete the game in an earlier century)...and my H3 sevice record does take an obscenely long time to update, somtimes as long as a day or two, though i am signed into Live every time i play.

Perhaps it's just a temporary glitch that they'll fix - i'm still showing private, etc but have advanced farther as well . . .

My service record hasn't updated since October 3rd and I've played several SP and MP games...with a couple of rank ups...still no update on Bungie.net. I'm always connected to live...oh ya and I was able to upload recent pics...

Ditto... my bungie.net service record was working perfectly until yesterday, and now it hasn't changed my last game played, appearance, ect. Strangely, it does update videos and pictures though.

Since I changed my gamertag i get the "Halo 3 Service Record Not Found" message, so I don't even know if it's updating.

Does it have something to do with the split from Microsoft? Since we log in with the MS ID..

Add one more user.

My service profile still shows me as Apprentice Grade 2, but I was promoted to private several days ago. (Promotion happened last Tuesday, today is Saturday). My experience and rank reported in game are correct, but are obviously much different than my bungie.net record by now.

EDIT: In fact, I was promoted again since then and it still hasn't updated...

I've tried the usual client side things, i.e. clearing my browser's cache, signing out of passport and back in, no effect.

(Screenshots that I take DO show up, however, so it's not like everything's missing.)

I'm an experienced developer & tester, if there's anything I can do to assist the bungie.net team in reproducing the error or troubleshooting it please feel free to send me a message and I'll help however I can.

Cheers

Same here.

I played over over 30 games last night and none of them are showing on this site. Also my achievements that do show on xbox.com don't show here. Most likely a database problem.

  • 10.06.2007 10:18 AM PDT

If I was the head of a country that lost a war, and I had to sign a peace treaty, just as I was signing, I'd glance over the treaty and then suddenly act surprised. "Wait a minute! I thought we won!"

I agree. There is something wrong. My profile has also not updated since October fourth and I have played many games. My rank on the site shows me as Seargent and I have already achieved an upgrade that is not reflected. I always play connected to live and all games were played on ranked.

What's going on????

  • 10.06.2007 11:13 AM PDT

I'm on this not-working list too. Something is up...

  • 10.06.2007 11:20 AM PDT

My trick knee is telling me that this may have to do with the MS/Bungie 'relationship dissolved'...however, I highly doubt that such a split would be allowed to discontinue the services on thsi site. I hope it isn't so since this is a great functional site...well, it was when it worked.
