The Pit is perfect for my (Team) SWAT variant but I don't want to have to make copies of maps where I've removed power ups, surely this option should be there?

Why is that hard? It takes like, 30 seconds and the map is then neatly organized on your 360.
Actually, I'll humbly say that I totally agree with JGD's sentiment that it is sort of illogical that the option to include/disclude powerups isn't exposed in the variant options. Yes, you can go into forge and remove all the powerups, but that doesn't really make sense for a game element like powerups. Why? Because the desire to have powerups on or off the map is (I would guess) based 90%~99% on the type of games someone wants to play, not the map they are playing it on. I don't quite understand why I would have to go into forge to simply add or remove all objects based on their class.
OK, I've totally surpassed my whining quota for the next few weeks. This game is super fun and I'm just nit-picking.

Forge is great, I'd just like to see it be all it can be. For Ex, letting the user *Delete All Objects On the Map? --Would be great.
Check this scenario out. I throw a fusion core at a buddy. It explodes and fun is had by all. But wait; not only did I just throw a fusion core, I also created a spawn for fusion cores therefor lowering my budget and the amount of fusion cores available. So essentially, you can only throw 16-20-30 (depending on the map) fusion cores before you either 1. Go back and systematically find and delete all of the ones you threw or 2. End the game, go back into the forge lobby, and load up your blank map again. Either way, you have to admit, it's kind of a pain, and not very conducive to "fusion coil" fights. In fact, I usually hold off on throwing them because I don't want to have to deal with deleting it after it hits the ground.
