Heyyo,
Err.. Iamwhie, no games showing legs? WRONG! lol, sry buddy, I guess you've never Played Tribes 1&2. Get them, they're freeware, search on google, download the game FOR FREE AND LEGALLY, and turn on 1st person view with weapon and player model, and when you look down you see your torso, your legs, your shadow. I give Bungie no credit, if old games could do it, so should new games. You may ask, "now why diddn't they do this?" cause they diddn't bother to set the camer angles right. In HaloPC, the camera you view your guy from is actually up to the left, above your guys head. Want proof? get a bud to aim at your eyes and you guide him saying left and right until the barrel of his gun is aimed at your eyes. by the time he gets it, on his screen he'll be aiming off very badly. So yeah, bad 1st person camera angle. So if you wondered why you could never see the stickeys attached to your visor when your bud plants one there? it's cause your camera offset's too bloody high. :p
I'm sure there's other games that do this too, I just know tribes as an example cause that game pwns in smexyness. ;)
I have another funny example of bad 1st person camera angles. You know Counter-Strike? quoted many-a-times over as the best game on pc? well, the 1st person camera's in your CHEST, lol. So if you ever wondered why your guy feels short? that's because you're one head-size down from where you should be. :p
Now, Halo2 seems to be better gameplay wise, weaponbalance is much better, more variety, and no fuel rods in multiplayer! w00t! :)
But from what I've seen from Red Vs Blue, Halo2 actually looks more cartoonish... which's kindof lame... If I wanted cartoonish gaming I'd throw on a cell shading mod or play XIII. ;)
