I would love to become a ninja for the halo 3 forums. To prove my experience, I have been an admin for about 3 years on several different forums(ranging from video games to general discussion forums), as well as moderator for over 30 different forums around. Mainly gfx moderator, but still have been normal moderator before.

I would love to be a ninja because i know i would never show favortism towards a poster if they indeed broke the rules set before them. I would follow all rules set forth towards myself. It would indeed be an honor to work for the bungie forums, even if it is for free, it would still be an excellent honor.

If anyone could help me achieve this status, or knows who i need to get in touch with, or what i need to do. please, by all means, do so.

P.S: if you see this in two forums, it was only because i wasnt exactly sure which one to post this one to, so please forgive me for that.

Step 1: DON'T ask how to become a mod.
Oops, looks like I don't need to run through the rest of the steps.

Being an active and long time member of the community that we can trust helps disgustingly.

As in, that's one of the main requirements. There's also being helpful, pleasant and someone that we wouldn't grimace at the thought of.

Wait, we can blackball based on that?

I sure didn't know that when I saw your "here's my hair on a bad day" picture TGP.

I guess that you lucked out!

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

My hopes and dreams all shattered into oblivion by one phrase. Thanks, TGP.

I would like to have the POWAH! of a Ninja, but with what TGP said I know I have no chance :(

Also. Thought you would like to know Recon that I saw an almost EXACT replica of your avatar as a Armour Perm in Halo 3 :\ seriously it had the big golden goggle's (but it was full faced) and it also had a small radio pack on the Body section's back. Looked cool and when I saw it I though "Oh My God... Recon is coming for me" >.<

I wonder how many people here grimace at the thought of me. I personally would love to be a mod, but only because it would allow me to have far more influence in the community and increase my chances of bettering it as much as possible... like the Gallery forum.

2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Me? Well, seeing as how "ninja" is in my name, making me a forum ninja would be overkill, really.
But seriously, there's a list of Forum Ninja info in their group. Ask 'em about which one it is. And then join it. I dare ya.

Yes, a ninja is a moderator. You'd laugh if I told ya what I thought when I first joined here. I was like,"What the-? Is Bungie some sort of training ground for ninjas or something?"
Ah, back in tha days of Omegaron343...

I was going to type something witty here, but I can't think of anything at this point in time.

I think it's better to be a helpful member than a moderator, because then you don't have to worry about all the 12 year olds yelling at you for doing something they didn't agree with.

QFT that, bro. Seriously, it takes a special kind of person to be a forum ninja.

1) Don't ask and your chances improve.

2) The longer and more prominent of a member you are, the greater your chances.

3) There are finer things than being a Ninja. Eating glass is one of them.

4) Don't aim to be one (or at least disguise your agenda) so we think you're not hunting the position.

5) Send me giftbaskets and I will get you in. Fo sho.

Being a forum ninja is a lot of work, considering that there are millions of posts in the forums and that the member count is high. And like dmbfan, I would rather be a helpful member that knows the ropes around here then a newcomer who thinks that they have what it takes to be a forum ninja after a week of membership. (I've been around for 1 year for all of those who wonder. 2 accounts.)

Are you implying something, dear sir?
That I would be hunting the position, mayhaps?

You people have just sent my sides into orbit. A bunch of MLG try hards sucking the dick of some supposed pro half the thread hasn't even heard of. Classic.

The best advice that I can give any member is to simply be yourself, enjoy your time here, try to be helpful if you can, or at the very least, "be excellent to each other".

Agreed. Do not spend your whole time just going around looking for threads to report to us. I know of some people who do that and I wonder how in the hell they actually enjoy their time here. Just try to be helpful and enjoy in some of the convo's that are going on. Also make sure not to get too close to Pezz. He bites.
