Okay I've been thinking, what aspects of playing mutli offline is missing from online? Talking to each other? Well we already got that through the VC as does every other game. This is supposed to be something no one has done before. Here is my idea:

Split screen showing the other players screen across the net. That is the big difference isn't it? When you play offline you can see the other players screen. When you play team games this makes things great because you can easily see where your teammates are and what they are doing. So what if Bungie will split screen your view so you can see what your teammates are doing (obviously something you could turn on and off)? It should be very feasable. I mean just by playing online you are already being sent all the data as to what the other players are doing therefore there is no extra net code (or very little), only offline rendaring.

Do you guys think this is a good idea? Do you think I took one too many hits from the crack pipe? How about your ideas as to what this feature is?

Interesting, but I'd like the larger screen. Plus, Halo2 is going to make it a lot easier to keep track of your allies and what they're doing (floating symbols, etc), so I don't think that'll be completely necessary.

Given all the technology the MC has he should be able to view what his fellow spartans are doing. Also this is about simulating the offline experience, and this is the best thing I can come up with that would fall under what Bungie is doing. I guess we'll see eventually.

Heh, I don't think they would take it that far, because I agree that would be crazy. I think they would do 4 split screen like it is offline.

Behold the power of the Originals, the Gods Axeone-Neurone.

The only thing is they talk about it revolutionizing online play. I would probably hardly ever use this feature. Especially since I can talk freely to my team without the other team hearing me.

Yes I agree I don't see this as something that would revolutionize online gaming either, but this is all PR after all.
