Here it is... the answer you've all been waiting for. I'm suprised it hasn't been posted yet.

To search the Bungie.Net forums, try the following:

1 - Go to www.google.com.
2 - In the search bar, type "site:bungie.net +forums <search string>", without the quotes, and replacing <search string> with whatever you want to find, e.g. site:bungie.net +forums "envy skull".
3 - Click the "Google Search" button.

Viola... you have just searched the Bungie.Net forums. I think newer posts don't show up using this method because Google may not have crawled them yet. Good luck, and may the force be with you.

Mods, please make this sticky.

I'm sure I've seen this before, but nice find.

However, I'm pretty confident that Bungie's own search will be far superior....but this should serve as a great alternative until that is released.

If this has been posted before, I'm not sure why they didn't sticky that post instead of the one they did, "Your Guide to Searching for Old Threads". Silly mods.

Old, but still a good and helpful find. Too bad the title is a little misleading.

Anyway, I'm totally convinced that Google can do anything. It's the best website ever.

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

The two guys who own it are worth 6,000,000,000 dollars a peice.

I know thats billion, not million.

I stick by the classic British belief that a billion is a million million -- which it is. Therefore, that would be six thousand million.

If their spiders have been regularly crawling the forums, I would have expected scores more hits than what I did get. most of the hits that I did get were ones posted by one person and they had the words in their sig. I would guess they might even be the Google "spider".
