Maybe a Core 2 Duo will be a little better. But with your config, im estimating (which im bad at) 30fps.
i'd say a little more than 30 FPS... but that Pentium is really killin you man. Get rid of it ASAP/
I'm getting a case soon so I can get an ATX board. THEN I'll upgrade to C2Q.I'll OC to like 3.7 GHz when I get my board. That'll help till I get my Q6600.[Edited on 10.08.2007 3:11 PM PDT]
Slaying noobs since 2007.
Meh, 45-50 or so.
why do you have 3 gigs of ram? unless your running 64 bit, anything over 2gb is useless
I had 1 gig of DDR2 533I bought 2 gigs of DDR2 800My mobo supports only DDR2 677So I just kept all 3 till I get my new motherboard...Also Windows recognizes all 3096 MB of ram
Hello! Star Wars FTW. Also, join the MAW group. Please?
Posted by: Ryanman7i'd say a little more than 30 FPS... but that Pentium is really killin you man. Get rid of it ASAP/The difference between a core 2 duo and a pentium D is nothing more than that the Core 2 Duo has a bit faster FSB, and if his motherboard doesn't support a higher bus speed (and as it's old enough to only support 667 mghz ram, it probably can't) then a Core 2 Duo wouldn't make a difference.I've got a dual core Pentium D running at 3.4 GHz (not oc'd either). Doesn't sound bad to me.[Edited on 10.10.2007 2:48 PM PDT]
A core 2 duo has better architecture.
